Inconsistent isn't the right word. Nick is a grifter/pundit, just like Vaush and Destiny. He is always 1 step behind the activists.
In 2015, Nick attacked Donald Trump while the real activists jumped on the Trump Train.

In 2018, Nick and his capos attacked Patrick Little for his bad optics, his based anti Semitic minorities, naming the Jew, denying the holocaust and getting banned from Twitter.

In 2021, Nick's plan is to ignore optics, find based anti Semitic minorities who believe in white identity politics, name the Jew, deny the holocaust and brag about being banned from Twitter.

Nick is always 1 step behind everyone else and I've spoke with AmNats and that's exactly why Nick is popular. Most AmNats are 10s or 20s yr olds who entered politics AFTER Trump won so they missed the entire alt-light era and even alt-right era. Nick was the most edgy content that they would tolerate so he appealed to them. It's the same reason Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk are popular. They're the most edgy content that their viewers are willing to tolerate.
Going into 2022, Nick's problems are: 1) He has been deplatformed and his clones (e.g. John Doyle, Kai Clips, etc) are positioning themselves in that market segment that is 1 step to the right of Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro so they're stealing the fresh blood and Nick is becoming the new "unoptical wignat." 2) Meanwhile the people who have been listening to them the longest have actually become wignats like RedPillGaming. 3) Charlie Kirk has shifted rightward on issues but rather than Nick getting credit for pushing the window further right, Charlie has stolen a large reason to watch Nick and that forces Nick to go even further right into more and more unoptical, more fringe, positions so he is still untouchable and excluded from the mainstream.
I think Nick is struggling to grow and to define his message. It's no coincidence Nick is punching right by debating Styx, Dave Smith and Sydney Watson as they're 1 step to the right of him. If Nick wants to continue growing, he needs to start siphoning these people's audiences and build allegiances with these people because they are the closest to him politically. But Nick is failing to do this. Nick reminds me of Spencer when he was infighting with alt-light.

Post UTR, everyone knew who Spencer was and they had to choose to accept him or reject him as their leader and they rejected Spencer. Now after the Groyper Wars, after Ben Shapiro street incident and J6, every DC-type knows who Nick is and they have to accept or reject him and most are choosing to reject him.
Personally I have no faith that Nick will be able to succeed. His IQ is too low and he lacks professional development aka maturity. With that said, his message of a GOP with based minorities who support white identity politics may in fact work and be the future toward which we're heading. It's a very appealing message to white cowards who have accepted their fate of becoming a minority but still want to put up token resistance against the left.
