Years ago it struck me when Jake of Hannah and Jake said on his Twitch stream with regard to puberty blockers something like "growing up should be optional" or "puberty should be optional". I don't remember if he said anything about what that kind of life where one was physically and mentally a permanent child would or should be like. And it was just kind of assumed that taking these drugs would freeze you in time.

One of them was commiserating with me about painful periods. We griped about endo, etc. and then she mentioned a great online support group she'd found. But then her expression flashed oddly, and she mentioned how it was currently a little unsettled because of a trans woman who was uncomfortable with this topic being "thrown in her face" in a "women's area."

All it took was me snorting and going "come on!" instead of "oh yes, I'm sure, very painful, dysphoria, etc. etc." and my friend unloaded for at least a couple of unbroken minutes about how it was ridiculous for them to be expected to go quiet in their own space. She was absolutely waiting for that chance and I don't think she even knew it before that moment.

Oh, it was a general women’s support platform for various challenges, and the troon inserted himself specifically into an endo discussion to suggest that it could be moved to more private areas of the platform. Sorry, was unclear.
