Yup. It's probable that the 6 models for Waves 1-2 existed and they got to pick from them behind the scenes. Elira and Selen (probably) not knowing each other before they joined but suddenly wanting to commission the same mama so their characters can be twin sisters feels less likely than just assigning them based on their personalities contrasting each other.

The males also seemed like an afterthought given that Niji has never had two separate auditions like that before, which has by proxy made Ethyria the only orthodox audition process so far. We'll have to see with Wave 5. JP moved to an always-open audition a couple of years ago. I think their last two waves (Selejo and Eden-gumi) were mostly brand new models except Oliver as a result.

Hololive just makes you audition. IIRC Myth made you make a character of your own and you show in your audition how you would play such character (as evidenced by Sydney/Hime Hajime's audition video) but I don't recall if it's the same for Council. They also used to have people choose from pre-made models but they have since stopped doing that since Gen 3 I think.

Other companies also do that "we have a premade model, choose which one you want and audition for it". PRISM PROJECT last I recall was blind auditions - you apply and then the management gives you a model that they think would suit you

I'm guessing it is more about their party dress outfits getting delayed so much and the NY outfits were already in progress, so they ended up coming out so close together.

As for IRyS, as many have pointed out previously, she seems to like to lighten the model on her own streams. Not sure if it is due to preferring lighter skin or just because her model is kind of dark and she wants it to be easier to see. But makes me wonder if she is trying to get them to lighten the model for this new outfit and that is what the delay is on hers.

Elira is the older twin! I'm wrong. Yes Selen is the younger sister.


Also, I normally don't watch bad players play APEX, but I naturally made an exception for Enna and Millie. Not only are they shit at the game, but they're also prone to violent motion sickness so it's been pretty funny.

Kind of like watching Calli/Pekora/Suisei play it: you're never going to watch it regularly, but there's entertainment value in watching people fumble their way through their first time playing. I don't think I could sit through a training arc though.

Come to think of it they especially can't be twins cause iirc they are half siblings with Eli being full dragon and Selen only half hence her lack of wings
