This will download the stream starting from the moment you enter the command. For previous parts of the stream, you can use the same program on the vod link. That won't work if the stream has vod disabled. In that case the only options I know of are to either be ready to start the recording manually on time, or use a tool that monitors the channel and automatically records any streams that happen.
