I’m not celebrating anything as The Decision has yet to be made, and SCOTUS might still disappoint. That being said, it was unexpectedly refreshing to see Roberts (instead of Kav/Alito/Thomas) raise issue with the “work-around” horseshit that, thanks to Ron Klain, is the official strategy by which the fed is pursuing their mandate. Ron was actually stupid enough to say the quiet part out loud.
Imagine him on a power trip, gleefully retweeting this, without so much as thinking about its implications and possible consequences down the line.
It would be great if his retweet is directly cited and tied to a strike-down of the mandate. Imagine, the administration’s greatest chance of a power grab in years (excluding 2020) eroded by one of their own and his big, fucking mouth. It would also be great if such an outcome ruins him professionally as a result. A D.C. acolyte since 1983 serving in the executive branch near the POTUS, and now Ron suddenly finds that no one will take his calls because he’s such a fuckup.

Been that way for decades. I'm not saying we should open up the (still fully functioning) deep mines, but there is a lot of coal very close to the surface in the UK. But nahh, let's pay some chinks to dig it up, chuck it on a boat, ship it half way around the world, just to lob in our coal fired power plants that used to sit at the end of a rail road that came from the coal processing plants.
