Regarding IRyS and GTA V

I'm very curious about this, are we going to see Mumei's true power? In her debut she teased a promising song that sounded straight out of a fantasy adventure game/anime iirc but since then.. she has been a lil disappointing in her unfocused karaoke streams.

I hope so. In EN's Ochame Kinou, despite the tuning you can tell that she's using a different singing voice compared to her karaoke streams.

There's something I've been wondering about. Would a corpo vtuber be able to use mods for a game? And how would they go about getting the approval to use them? The modders probably wouldn't give a shit but I feel like quite a few game companies would probably get pissy.

Once again it is a permissions issue. The only mods I have seen used are the shaders in minecraft (is the worlds linking portals a mod?), and custom character mods in Rimworld and Don't Starve. They probably have/want to get permission from the game company and the modder both.

We've seen it a couple times.

NijiEN had a L4D2 collab filled with mods, but the rules were that they HAD to be original mods made by viewers. This included Elira bodypillow medkits, model swaps, one of the gun sounds was replaced with Selen's laughter etc. I imagine that's because viewers inherently give permission for use if they're making it for the sole purpose of them using it in a stream.

NijiJP (and maybe HoloJP but I don't remember) also use a JP-language mod for Among Us that they had to ask the modder permission for.

Gura has stated a few times that she asked for permission to use a few Skyrim mods. Mod permissions are separate to the game permissions. I'm assuming the mod creators need to be contacted and approve it, along with the normal publisher permissions.

Does 'The Forgotten City' still count as a mod to Skyrim or was it ever recognised as, like, a standalone entity? Because Nina Kosaka played that on stream too.

is there any V-tuber that has actually finished GTA V?
Miko has but tbh she's one of the only vtubers I've kept up with somewhat on their GTA V streams. It was nice seeing her finish the game that helped her connect to the audience and gave her a kind of springboard. From what I recall she was really having a rough go of things but her GTA streams really took off so GTA V always has a special sentiment to her.

Edit - clip of Miko unlocking the true Elite ending

Fuck, how did I miss her playing it? The game is really good, so to the archives I go.

I would assume standalone. It has its own store page and doesn't seem to be running on the creation engine. You can still see the Skyrim influence, but it isn't a mod anymore.

Edit: Just checked. It runs on UE. So yeah, not even on the same engine anymore.

Yes, her pink history.

Edit - Curious on the rest of the story, breach of contract and illegal activities (law breaking)
Edit Edit - Also Ollie
No clips but there are timestamps, run it through Deepl if you can't read moonrunes
The Ollie Lilith collab stream got privated. Here's a clip with Indonesian subs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SohUpuyjxfI

Her old 3D model with the head always tilted is peak comedy in itself

Dear god, is the ARC plague back from the dead with this new addon? Over a dozen stream the last couple of days. Can't wait that EN jumps on board. I'm kidding, please not
