because Ethan is such an annoying off putting guy he naturally draws attention away from her which makes her look better just by not really existing in most people's mind. by not saying or doing anything she not only wins but gets memed into an attractive delightful person, (i bet a similar thing is why cleopatra is so well regarded considering her lovers were quite infamous) Hila is awful maybe not as bad as Ethan but still pretty bad

I know guys that work at exotic car dealerships and would drive lambos and ferraris as a daily, but they abandoned that to get a bug because of how delightful it was to drive, (like a rollercoaster plus it has a place to put your flowers!) plus seeing a bunch of them anywhere is a joy for both the young and old. not just stinky wetbacks like with regular car clubs
- you can tell she has ugly thoughts because she ugly. A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely. the fact that this doesn't happen to her prove her looks are karma for being an ugly person throughout.

Yes thank you. I was about to come and post this. For a guy that is extremely against anything creepy with young girls, he sure turns out to be a hypocrite. He should return officially the 17th to continue his podcast but he got cancelled within the first 5 minutes of him testing his stream setup as he will appear on Hasan's stream tomorrow, as he said, so some time today on Sunday.
Unexpectedly, his community is supporting him . . . Despite him calling out other dudes for saying stuff like this. It's ok guys, it is because Korra looks like his wife. . . And because she is a cartoon. Despite it being not ok for other guys to say or joke about the same thing because he will make a long podcast about them calling them predator creeps.
One example of this is Ethan calling out Shane Dawson about the joke of him wanting to fuck his cat. I am not well traversed in if he did it or not but just joking about it was enough for Ethan to talk about it several times with Trisha Paytas and on his Podcast.

I think you guys are on the right tracks discussing Ethan's health. I think it reflects on H3's current shitty quality quite well. Personally, I think Ethan might just be the best example on YouTube of the consequences of selling out the audience that made one successful or noteworthy. The audience that got H3H3 to that 1 million mark clearly doesn't watch them anymore judging by their subreddit and discord. I think this is important to note because that initial audience of shitposters and general comedy fans was much more easily retainable than that of their current audience. After the terrible podcast switch in 2017 just look at how Ethan constantly has to ride the wave of whatever's currently in on Twitter and the much less confrontational and edgy content nowadays on their godawful streams with their yes-men staff. Ethan didn't have to bend himself over backwards 24/7 for the whim of that initial audience, the early content came out when it was fucking ready and it didn't involve painfully boring streams weekly or daily along with surface-tier politics and contradictory behavior.
I think, that Ethan deep down, feels that he fucked himself over into this position and believes he can't get out of it. He'll never admit these finer details publicly because this newer audience simply doesn't care for the most part, they'll easily just switch over to some airheaded dunce like XQC once Ethan becomes boring or too annoying and now that there's no core audience to fall back on he has to resort to various lolcow tactics to get some form of profit or attention.
This recent bout with Rogan is a great example of this cycle which will continue to perpetuate until Ethan or H3 gets some form of intervention.

I've said it before and I'll probably end up saying it again: the core problem with Ethan is he's started taking himself very seriously, but he isn't a serious person. He's a silly person, and he got famous for doing comedy and buffoonery. When you build a whole internet persona around making fun of yourself and how weird you are, it's extremely hard to transition into a "smartest person in the room, the voice of reason with all the best hot-takes" identity. Especially if you aren't actually very smart or reasonable.
He's not good at making arguments, his takes lack any nuance or depth. It's easy to lampoon something that's stupid or absurd on its face, like a massive soda corporation putting out a protest-themed ad. But when you're trying to wade into a complicated, multi-faceted issue like public health, a really basic and simplistic take won't do you any good.
He knows he sucks at debate, which is why he tried to hide behind Sam Sneeder to "own" Crowder. His ten year old fans loved it, but everyone else thought it was a bitch move.

Even at the height of his silly persona he was able to act as an effective voice of reason simply because he was capable of mustering an ounce of humility. All he would have to do to reclaim that is stop acting like a judgmental asshole.

Ironically, I think this exact concept can be applied to this thread. Ethan sees himself as some sort of center of moral authority, so his cow moments are relegated to him sperging about ideas that he knows nothing about. We can look at him and try to laugh, but it feels more bitter than comedic. He doesn't have enough self-awareness to make actual points about the moral issues he wants to discuss, but he has just enough to stop himself from screaming and shitting live on podcast. Ethan's pathetic, but he takes himself too seriously to be laughed at. So we're left with 231 pages of (mostly) seething. It's like Ethan's 2016 content where he spoke about Buzzfeed and other low-hanging fruit. It's cathartic once. Then it gets boring. And it never gets funny.
Give us a divorce arc, or a troon arc, or at least something, Ethan. Get caught in a polyamorous affair with your podcast staffers. Take one too many shrooms and fling your own shit at Joe Rogan's house. Give us a half-dead stare for the public indecency mugshot and begin the rest of your podcast episodes with "I'm Ethan Klein, and I'm legally required to inform viewers in the state of California..."
We just want to laugh at you again, Ethan. Is that so much to ask?

I think Ethan says cringe and cow-worthy things more often than people give him credit for. The problem is that I (nor anyone else here) am willing to sit through his dreadfully shitty podcasts to find these moments. It's a real shame because his family and his crew all seem like weirdos too. The people who watch him are cultish enough to ignore "bad takes" unless it goes against their ideology. I think Ethan is smart enough to know that he can't jump audiences twice and get away with it.
A divorce arc would be hilarious. I'd settle with a gout or a diabetes arc; some sort of fat related illness.

Besides the fact that Ethan can't be bothered to clean up the ball pit (??) in what appears to be a giant closet (???), it's actually a pretty decent interview and it's probably the best Ethan has looked in a while imo. It ends with Ethan starting a go-fund me for the dude to get skin removal surgery and pledging 5k towards it, which is nice. Curious why he's rebranding this though, I wonder if this is going to be some sort of segue away from having an entire crew - if this picks up, he may realize he can do better content for far less money from within his giant closet. There doesn't seem to be any central unifying theme around the content here and he hasn't talked about it much as far as I can tell, though it was created back in July of 2021.
