Torture is putting a toddler through an irreversible process that will leave them with a ruined body, a warped perspective on life and a tainted mindset.
I've shared this story beford but it's worth repeating again. I used to work in produce and one of my coworkers was a pretty openly gay guy with a bit of a bad habit of oversharing. One night we passing around a joint before the shift starts and he starts telling us about this party he'd gone too...a party where he met 'Debbie'.
Debbie was a mtf trans person with quite the history. Drugs, sex parties, a real wild card that loved going along with mob mentality. Debbie was barely in their twenties when their current 'friends' started talking them into getting a sex change; now this was during that window of time where a surgeon would do damn near any procedure as long as you had the cash.
So 'Debbie' underwent the change and ended up with mutilated genitals with a pair of shitty tits. There's a bit more drug fueled partying and then suddenly Debbie found themself growing out of the sex and drugs lifestyle...and once the high settled the realization of what they did became clear.
Depression kicked in and Debbie ended up heavily medicated to combat it; sharing the constant regret that out of all their poor life choices this one was the worst.
...and then later that night Debbie shoved their fist up my coworkers ass. Like I said; they overshared sometimes.
