Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Okay, local Clown World just fucked my perception of everything. Here's the pic, and I'll explain.

This is the local Circle K up the street here in AZ. Several black guys near the entrance. As I approached, they asked me if I was a registered voter. But of course!

Please sign these petitions as we we are trying to get more Republican candidates to run for Governor of AZ.

(total brain malfunction)

K...who? This one's for Senate... k, signed. These two are for Gov... (worthless nobodies)... dude, not signing these. Kari Lake is going to be the next Governor of AZ. Black dude was like fist bump, man she already won and that's why they payin' our happy asses to stand here and collect signatures!

It was a totally unreal experience to see blacks working for R candidates. Didn't go there with them on that issue.

I love this state and this country!

I don't understand why ANYONE would say this.

The NBA said in 2020 that half of their fanbase was pure evil and then surprise Pikachu face, their ratings went down by 50%.

I can't tell you the number of people that have just stopped watching sports, or wrestling, or movies, or any entertainment because it's all political (lefty) now.
The interesting thing is that there've always been lefty political messages in the media and even in sports, but until recently it was kept subtle. It was like 95% entertainment and 5% propaganda. More in franchises like Star Trek, but they managed to convey the propaganda artfully enough that people enjoyed it. This is one of the big reasons the left gained so much ground in the 20th century, because this media control let them frame their ideas as the inevitable future society was heading toward.

Now the media is like 80% propaganda and 20% entertainment, and the propaganda is of the most alienating kind that, as you describe, drives people completely away from the media because of the bile directed at them. It's self-sabotaging. I think Trump really drove a portion of the elite insane, he represented a repudiation of their views by the American voter and they went berserk trying to stop what he started.

>Iowa likes Biden to vote for him over Trump in 2024 guys

Pure delusion. Trump won Iowa twice by more than 8 points each time. He is more popular than Senator Chuck Grassley in the state, the Senator so popular in state, another candidate lost by just insulting him.

Looked into LTE, he cried when Youngkin won and calls himself a Romney Republican. He also uses solely 538 as a source. Completely disregard.

I love Grassley. There are videos of this.

It's super weird seeing people claim Grassley is loved in Iowa. Every person i have ever talked to about him always bitch about his show farm and how they hoped he'd kick the bucket already. These are vote republican until they die farmers too.

You know, this explains very neatly for me why Ann Coulter has somehow delivered anti-Jew takes that would not be out of place in AnH and has magically not been banned from Twitter.
Just in case people don't know, Ann Coulter used to get plowed by Bill Maher. That's really all you need to know about her political positions, although I assume they lean to topping from the bottom.

I checked on the Arizona race and Arizona also has a baste and redpilled Asian lady with a very memeable surname running for the Republican ticket.

Well, he did say he wasn't afraid of the Piranha women... before he almost got eaten and went MGTOW.

What I do find really personally interesting (take it or leave it on your own cognizance, of course) is just how many different perspectives we have from different locations in and around the proverbial machine at this point, and together, doomers aside, they paint some interesting pictures. By themselves, they're tiny slices of the bigger whole, but together they give us some pretty good reason to have something resembling hope if you ignore the thread's perpetual doomer population (and coomer population, and doomers who are, in turn, coomers, as the old meme goes).

Thing is though, ending the filibuster just isn't going to happen because of the more moderate dems in the senate. So this warning, while fun to listen to, is really a waste of time, the dems learned their lesson after they fucked around with the rules for appointing judges, I think.
No, they didn't.

The Establishment Dems are pathologically unable to fathom consequences for their actions until they're staring them in the face.

They learned absolutely nothing from Harry Reid doing this shit, learned absolutely nothing from the last 200 major fuck-ups they've had bleeding their support, and learned nothing from 2016.

They'll go to the grave being completely incapable of pattern recognition, and it's fucking hilarious.

Just in case you were unaware, I crunched some numbers. New York state as a whole was +23 for Biden, but Upstate (a.k.a. everything except NYC) was only +2 for Biden. So Upstate was already split 51-49 in November 2020. Upstate itself has to be -5 by now at least and climbing. Combine that with an NYC exodus, and I can see New York state being legit purple in 2024.

Hell, New Jersey almost flipped in 1 year. New Jersey was +16 for Biden, then in 2021 the Dem governor incumbent only won by 3.
I've said this for years: NY has been on the verge of a major flip for some time. Not just because the circumstances are almost identical to what allowed Giuliani to sweep in, but because the Dems increasingly in NY have shown themselves to be utterly incapable of governing. The main problem is that historically, they've always been right in that magic pocket where they can get away with fucking around behind the scenes to effectively rig the vote for ages, and the machine historically has been able to utterly control its individual parts.

Those parts are either fucking off or breaking down, with their support substructures going with them, and as their consistent voterbase fragmenting, it's going to get harder and harder for them to pull this shit. All it's going to take is the right person to capitalize, and the rest writes itself.

Yee would just be a better Ducey, and she's too inside, being the incumbent Secretary of the Treasury. She's not bad; she's great at her job. But she's just not what Arizona needs in '22.

Black men don't like seeing their neighborhoods being destroyed by niggers.

I know you Kiwis don't believe me, but black men are slowly but surely moving to the dark side. Trump's share of the black male vote INCREASED in 2020, after 4 years of being told that Trump was the most racist man ever. It was 20% in 2020, it could be 25-30% by 2024.

Black men had record low unemployment under Trump and are now dealing with this Corona bullshit (least likely group to be vaxxed) and inflation and supply chain issues.

Black men don't like Biden fucking with their money.

Lmao @ Red Vermont. Just because it was a big Republican stronghold 50 years ago doesn't mean it's coming back anytime soon. I think the only reason this has been suggested at all is because Vermont has all the makings of a rural red state: a farming/agricultural-reliant economy (less so than, say, Arkansas or Idaho but the dairy barn is associated with the state for a reason), low numbers of illegal immigrants, extremely lax gun laws by northeast standards,

I've said it before here, but the only reason Vermont is such a political anomaly is because the overwhelming majority of the state is white and the urban centers are small compared to Southern New England. Vermonters on the whole support left-leaning policies and vote Democrat because they see those same policies work for their state and just assume that those same policies will work on a federal level.

Just because Vermont is rural and has lax gun laws doesn't make it a red, let alone purple state, by any stretch of the imagination. New Hampshire and Maine fit the bill far better.

Disclaimer: I'm not actually from Vermont, though I am from New England. I can kinda understand the rationale of NE voters... kinda.

I keep hearing that a bunch of wealthy libertarians are trying to start pop-up self governance communities in NH and it sounds like it's getting popular. I know most of the new england region votes blue, but I don't know much about NH politics and the likelihood of a few thousand independents swaying state numbers.
