Everybody knows what "I'm a licensed [whatever] with a Masters in my field, and I run a nonprofit" implies. And it isn't ANYTHING she's up to. , but let's just call it what it is: lying.

While I wholeheartedly agree with this deconstruction of her claim, it's worth noting her argument would probably be "I talked a trans person out of suicide once!"... even though that's also hardly true. It seems like she has her phone number somewhat public and relies on people to take contact to her. Which, like you said, still means it's in a technical sense a lie. Iirc she just told the suicidal tranny to call an actual suicide hotline before recounting the whole story openly on twitter.

I'll also have to say that Yarrow genuinely has potential to be a creator and "small business owner" in the online neopagan community. She's already attempting to spread practical information about her ritual process, herbalism and has sold spell jars and ugly patches in the past. While I generally cringe at that whole subculture, there IS a market for what she is attempting to do. If only she dropped her egocentricism and put some effort into marketing research. I'm deeming it highly unlikely but with a big load more production value, she might have an audience.

It's the same thing in Celtic mythology. Everything is fairies, leprechauns, puca's the banshee, Tuathe Dé Dannan, all fairies. Also fairies generally not considered good or helpful ever, more like traditionally they like to fuck with people for their own amusement.

Just like everything else Gyro does, they don't research and they appropriate the "coolest" parts of a culture/religion because they're living in a perpetual fantasy land because it's too hard to face the reality that they are an unpleasant person with no redeeming qualities who had no real friends, so they have to look cool on the internet with their make-believe stories.

I am not even a complete atheist when it comes to spirits or cultural beliefs, but every thing Gyro has ever claimed is a lie, and they know they're lying. Witchcraft circles are notoriously easy to create a cult in because you can claim anything. Making up things with your imagination is taken as reality (but in a DIFFERENT reality, you see!)

The most positive attention they've ever gotten in their life, when it felt like people cared about them, was when they were grooming children on Deviant Art pretending to be the ghost of Michael Jackson. It didn't work to claim to be a powerful Satanist fucking Richard Ramirez, so now they're trying it as a powerful Druid whose besties with gods and fairies.

While yelling at people to not be racist, while culturally appropriating as many things they don't understand as possible. I'm still surprised nobody has called them out about the Chordeva thing but us.

There's not a clear line between Otherworld, "world of the dead," and faerieland. It's very vague. Staph has no qualities the fae would value, rather that be skill, beauty, youthfulness, virtue, etc. She's more likely to annoy them because she won't leave them alone. "Ugh, not this fat tard again!"

It's the same thing in Celtic mythology. Everything is fairies, leprechauns, puca's the banshee, Tuathe Dé Dannan, all fairies. Also fairies generally not considered good or helpful ever, more like traditionally they like to fuck with people for their own amusement.

They weren't wholly malevolent and could be nice to humans. There were plenty of house fae that would take care of the house as long and they only required the bare minimum of gifts as a thank you. Imo most of the fae were more alien than evil, not realizing they're doing harm because they don't understand humans. This can best be seen with the humans who go to faerieland and experience its wonders, but when they get back either centuries or no time at all has passed. They view time differently and think we have the same perception time as them.

Same here, the only time you see someone outside of the farms actively call Staph out on her bullshit, it’s usually during a Twitter slap fight she instigated or a debate thread she butts into.

I think the lack of engagement is a combination of her incredibly small, unimportant internet presence (despite her claims of being a successful small business owner and running her own NPO), as well as the fact that her Twitter feed is an absolute mess. Her hot takes and embarrassing details of her fantasyland adventures are constantly buried under retweets of political gender bs and cat photos with dumb baby speak captions.

There’s a p well known woman on TikTok that channels MJ and Marilyn Monroe that they may be referring to here. I cannot remember her username, but she’s changed account names a couple of times, is obese, and has no teeth. Constantly says her dentures are busted and to be kind to her while playing make believe as dead folk.
