Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

Anyone else find it interesting that they dont do phalloplasty on MTFTM trannies?
It is almost as if anyone who ever had a penis would be like "What the Hell is this shit? I was better off with nothing!"
If the surgery was so good that "Dr.s can't tell the difference!" as they like to squeal it seems it would be ideal to bolt a wang back on those people. Now that insurance has to cover this stuff you would think they would be lining up for shiny new store bought wangs. The fact that men pass on a giant "penis" that will stay hard as long as you want shows how bad they are.
I know of one man who has had one after regretting getting his penis flayed and stuffed inside himself ... He has a youtube channel where he is documenting his recovery. Be interesting to see what he thinks of the results when it is healed up, he has been pretty open and honest in his previous videos.

Youtube is “Return Daniel”

Can’t archive anything atm. Sorry

His website https://returntodaniel.com/

In the case of Jazz, he doesn’t know what his penis should have felt like as a sexual organ anyways.... so maybe there would be little difference between his memory of his old penis and of an arm sausage sewn to his crotch?

I believe that unfortunately Jazz has already tried to 41% himself before this latest season was filmed. My reasoning is as follows:
1. The family constantly but obliquely keeps referring back to some event prior to filming which seems to constitute a serious and specific mental health crisis event. Jazz refers to a “crash”. Sanders refers to it as a “bad decision” and says to Jazz, “you know what I’m referring to”.
2. The family says that Jazz was in a “very bad place” before filming began but that he is “much better now”. Well if the terrible state he’s in this season constitutes “much better” to them, then whatever state he was in before must have been pretty fucking terrible
3. His family is clearly afraid to leave him on his own or to his own devices
4. Harvard is clearly wary about lettting him start school, given that I imagine lots of Harvard students have mental health issues, Harvard must have a severe concrete reason to be this wary
5. He’s on some heavy duty medication that could easily be used to OD deliberately or perhaps semi-deliberately-semi-accidentally-cry-for-help kinda way.

SOMETHING really bad has happened with Jazz before filming this season began but whatever it is, the family is working hard to keep it schtum.

I also agree with RabidColumbian that you he family seems very uncomfortable when Jazz is in wigs and the wig wearing does seem to have some sort of rebellious secret significance for Jazz that TLC is leery of exploring fully.
I think you are correct. Keep in mind Jazz never wanted to go to Harvard in the first place, and Jeanette goaded him into it. We definitely aren't getting the full story.

The difference between Jazz and the majority of other troons is that Jazz was groomed for this for his entire life. He can’t possibly understand what he has lost.
Jazz was spoonfed a lot of magical thinking by the adults around him. Vagina Fairy? What?

Jazz might not understand entirely and first-hand what he has lost, but wrong can still feel wrong.

Poor kid.

I do tend to think that is the case. - How could he ever live as a man, now? At best, he might join a circus freakshow.
I think he would become non-binary or will still be a trans woman but won't take hormones and will stop dilation, detrans people don't come back to their birth sex that easily and since Jazz as always been "seen" as a girl he won't identify as a man until a few years (if there is no 41%).

I doubt this would happen, but the funniest way this could pan out is someone using the exact same "egg-cracking" language Kevin Gibes uses to convince him to detransition.

Doubtful. It looked like he was going for the bitchy "three finger point" with the thumb, pointer, and middle finger and was too fat and retarded to do it properly. Also, the only people I see doing that point are Yugioh characters and gay black dudes (who also usually play Yugioh) so it's possible it's a drag thing.

But hey, maybe I'm underestimating Jazz's intelligence. I do that with troons.
I don't watch drag. Can you give us a screenshot of a drag queen doing this regular drag hand gesture? Or five?
It's exaggerated movements meant to show off nails, but Jazz has no fancy nails.
So vogue-y stuff like this:

Turned into memes like this:

None of those show thumb inside closed fist, which is, for me at least, an uncomfortable thing to do with my hand. Feels weird. The kind of gesture that would be great for a Tik Tok domestic violence signal, since I would be unlikely to do it unintentionally.

If it's something drag queens do a lot, it would make a bad signal gesture. But it seems like it would be even more uncomfortable with ridiculous drag queen claws.

Who knows? I sure don't.

But Walt went through puberty and even married as an adult and lived the first four decades of his life as a normal man. He had the experience and the basic blueprint already down; Jazz does not. Walt also strikes me as a very intelligent albeit disturbed man, whereas Jazz never went through the neurological developmental phase required for adult sophistication of thought.
Again, I don't agree that you have to go through puberty to see the truth. Little children see it -- or sense it -- even better than adults, and it's no doubt the child in Jazz that is whispering that truth to him (what he calls the "negative thoughts" he has to constantly work at repressing in his own mind).

As for Exulansic, she's not saying anything a lot of us haven't been saying for years now... I assume her videos are some people's introduction to the whole Jazz story, but that doesn't make her an authority.

Also...Jazz has been doing the vogue moves for years. Also not new.

I can only watch these filtered through Exulansic. This episode is making me want to cry.

Exulansic is making a strong case for major injury caused by puberty blockers, and I can't argue with much. The mechanism that causes Prader Willi, much as is known about it, it's not a reach to think that disrupting development like this could cause something similar

Kids are not capable of the kind of meta-reflection required to come to terms with their whole life being based on a lie. Not sure why you're bringing in Exulansic. She's hardly the first one to make the observation that Jazz is still operating with a preteen mindset. Plenty of us here have been saying it since 2017 at least.

I like Exulansic, even if I don't always agree with her critiques. She's done wonders for bringing awareness to the issue though. Her vids are usually some of the first results when you look up the show on YouTube. If some poor confused non-consenting minor comes across her vids and decides not to troon out, it's worth it.

Can we put the Prader-Willi speculation to rest? If Jazz actually had it, he'd be even more of a tard than he is now. He's just eating his feelings.
He doesn't have it, but the likelihood that his obesity is seriously impacted by damage from puberty blockers/cross sex hormones seems pretty high.

Exulansic never said Jazz has Prader-Willi, but she has theorized Jazz has damage to his hypothalamus, similar to what happens in PW. They have chromosome 15 deletions, Jazz had GnRT drugs. It’s an interesting theory, but I think Jazz has multiple factors that contribute to the rapid weight gain; the cocktail of drugs he’s on (Seroquel possibly being one of them), the castration (Castrati got huge), other mental illness, and possibly damage to the hypothalamus.

He's been on those hormones for years. The sudden 100-pound weight gain is almost certainly due to whatever "new psychiatric cocktail" he was put on after whatever breakdown he recently experienced.

It could be, but it could also be coincident with his developmental phase. He was also struggling with his weight before the Bowers surgery, he had to lose 30 lbs for that? That's not insignificant on a teenager his height.

I'm not saying he didn't love to eat (probably because he was a teenaged boy), but most people walking around could stand to lose 30 pounds.

100 in a year is another story.

I wonder if he didn’t balloon like he has recently before the surgery partly because he knew he had to keep it in check to qualify for the surgery (actually had to lose weight to qualify). Now there’s no reason to not gorge. Combine that with a worsening mental state and new cocktail of drugs, and it’s no wonder he is 100LBs bigger.

I wonder about Harvard supposedly wanting proof he’s not a basket case. On the preview for next week’s episode, Jazz had a Zoom meeting with Harvard, and he told his parents they want him to have a therapist, psychiatrist and case manager in Boston, not just in Florida. MH expert Kiwis: does him having a case manager suggest he’s been inpatient? It’s interesting he’d have “a team” of MH professionals keeping tabs on him and Harvard supposedly wants all three to be established in Boston.

ETA: I just realized this might not be next week’s preview. TLC YT uploaded it three days ago, but I’m not watching episodes brand new, so maybe this scene is from last week.
