I kind of feel that they'd risk being seen as abusive or some shit if they just left her in the car, even though that's what we all would do. They seem kind of protective of giving off the image that they want Tammy around.

Nah, they were going to but Amy didn't want to. Same with the dinner the same episode. Amy will hopefully stop once she moves.

Brittany, Chris' wife and the nicest person, literally finally snapped and said "just leaver her in the van!" Pisses me off that Chris would even get her a hotel. They should STOP doing shit for someone like her who never once was grateful for anything.

Citation needed since I've got no fucking clue how roller coasters work, but as wholesome as the scene of Chris managing to fit in was, didn't the [third green] light go back off as soon as he got cleared? They focused on the fact it lit up beforehand, so I'm assuming that checks if the seat's secured.

In a way it's kinda ironic that the camera zooms in as the guy says "you're safe". How do these work, would he still be good to go? If not, I wonder if nobody noticed, they went "eh fuck it it'll look wholesome", or TLC got involved.

If you look closely at what they eat, it's like the worst of the worst possible food. Low quality meats, Hostess/Lil Debbies, Wonderbread. It's the kind of food that never goes bad because it's so. . Nasty. The poorer you are in America, the fatter you are, because you can eat absolute slop like this on a budget.

Also food is the most basic form of charity. Most churches or charity groups have a certain amount of this kind of food to give to people in need.
Same for private donations and such.

It's really sad how truthful that is. If you need food stamps in America; you also can't afford to buy healthier food; because it's about three or four times the cost. Even basic food items, like bread as you pointed out, are the cheapest. There's no more local butchers/stores providing food for people to buy; it's just mass produced crap that is heavily laced with sugar.

The Slatons eating habits aren't unusual; there's plenty of families who are working class, and essentially live off ramen, mac n cheese, and cheap deli meat sandwiches for most of their diet. The Slatons just...are slatons.

I just hate how now tax payer dollars will be used to keep this useless land whale alive. It would be much cheaper to just lock Tammy up in her duplex, buy a shit ton of pizzas, booze, and vape for at least 48 hours and let her drop dead.

I would also like to note that eating healthier on a budget is actually possible. But it requires effort in that you have to sit down and budget and then cook the food (like canned and frozen vegetables.) You can buy multiple cans of soups or vegetables for the price of 1 or 2 boxes of cookies.

Pasta is carbs but spaghetti or noodle soup is healthier for you than pizza rolls, but you actually have to stay at the stove to make pasta dishes instead of just heating up pizza rolls. You have to chop things to make salads and soups.
