I made this post a few months ago pointing out the massive hypocrisy of Ethan still running ads on his 2014-2016 SJW ownage videos after changing his politics but as far as I know he hasn't removed or done anything to them. They have a collective 40 million views and are all monetized. When you remove videos with those kind of numbers it tanks the Youtube AI that helps people find your videos and fucks your channel up really bad. Seeing how Ethan and Hila are rich people living in a 3 million dollar mansion in Hollywood they could easily do it but just choose not to. The main h3h3 channel has been dormant for years now and it wouldn't matter at all if it fucked up the algorithm for it yet they still run ads.

Ethan within the last year has cited the fund raising he did with Hugh Mungus as one of his career highlights. The fact that he's now politically allied with Zarna Joshi in spirit is something he just has to compartmentalize in his brain in order to avoid reflecting on one of many examples of his own hypocrisy.

Well in that case, even with all of the fraud money they stole from their "legal fund" they almost certainly need those videos to be monetized. It sounds like they very well may be house poor/lifestyle poor.

I don't want to run the math but I know that Ethan is not making enough money to responsibly sustain the kind of lifestyle that comes with a $9 million home. I don't know how much money he's bringing in but I know it's not as much as Ethan THINKS it is. Also it's fair to say at this point that Ethan's channel is dying. It may not be dying fast but the subscriber count has leveled off/is no longer growing which is the dead bell for both tech companies and content creators.

It's the beginning of the end and now I'm starting to think that Ethan just assumed the number would continue to grow indefinitely because of his youtube connections/nepotism. After reading this thread for the past 2 weeks I have no doubts in my mind that Ethan really is stupid enough to have thought that.

Ethan went from one of the most loved YouTubers in circa 2017 to one of the most hated by 2022. It doesn't take a genius the guy has obviously sold his soul and taken a giant check.

It's fairly clear the guy doesn't know how to maintain his finances. But to make matters worse I think Ethan Klein will fall soon and when his fall occurs he will see the bottomless pit of the hell he created. When that occurs well I feel for the poor guy. Sure he has a very expensive house now but for years even when he had 100 million subs he was still living very modestly for someone who had more or less saved multiple millions every year for the past decade.

He drives a (now few year old) Volvo XC90 as well which is in my opinion one of the ultimate stealth wealth cars for sensible people of means. It's nice, but not grossly expensive and practical/safe in every way. No one would think someone is flexing for pulling up in a Volvo.

As a content creator you never know when the money train may be ending so really none of these people should be spending money on anything they can not write off as a business expense. Not many of them seem to be able to do it though...

Millions are the table stakes for property in the bay area, LA, SD, and even places like Sacramento and San Bernadino if you want to live in a nice part of town. Yeah, the problem being that most influencers have never had a real job.

You can even test this with pretty decent accuracy, think of any influencer you actually respect and that seems like a decent guy even after years of content creation on YouTube. Whenever I do it and look them up it usually turns out they have actual job experience and have a life beyond the Internet. Personal fav being General Sam, dude was a literal hot air balloon repairman for years before his channel took off. Even when it took off he still kept his job for at least a year or two.

Not entirely sure about Ethan though. I know he was completely broke and sold weed, but the dude was way too old already at that point as far as I know so I'm not entirely sure how he didn't have a job at that point.
