I don’t listen to the Dickshow a lot anymore, I will only listen if I have exhausted all my normal goto’s.
But I do listen to biggest problem since it’s shorter and some funny stuff does come from it.

The reason I mention Biggest problem is because Dick said that he didn’t go to a nephews Christmas show because he was having a birthday party for his dog. Vito laughed and they moved on so I assumed it was just a joke. I liked that BPITU so much I decided to try the dickshow the same week to learn not only was he being 100% serious but they actually bought the dog a birthday cake and invited other dogs.

Dick, buddy, this is embarrassing. It’s embarrassing that you’ve become a podcast that just talks about your dog for large segments but it’s even more embarrassing that this is obviously a massive cope from your girlfriend who is reaching the twilight years of being fertile and not having a huge risk of downie babies.

You don’t do bits that can’t be easily sourced from Twitter, you don’t have interesting call ins, you gave up with news babes, the regulars are gone and the stories you talk about are ill researched or fake. recently he talked about the “Walmart meta verse” and had a big rant about it, even though a quick Google search would show that that was a tech demo from 2017 and nothing to do with Facebook.

Also dick is being cringe on the latest BPITU admiring Mr. girl for being an absolute asshole to his gender confused girlfriend. Very manly Dick.

Got back into the Dick Show recently after not listening for years, and I agree: it oscillates between boring and frustrating. Frustrating when he's parroting blatant BS that gets briefly corrected the next week (if at all), and boring for pretty much all the rest of it. When someone's main income stream (?) is running a weekly podcast, the least he could do is vet his sources just enough that he doesn't talk nonsense for 30 minutes at a time about some fake or outdated news article he fell for because it made a convenient strawman for him to yell about.

The Biggest Problem reboot was mostly mediocre, but entertaining enough to put on during my commute. Now Vito's gone and ruined that by being unable to just shut the fuck up on Twitter.
Whether it materially affects the content of the show is irrelevant because it's permanently soured my impression of him from annoying-but-tolerable to irredeemably gross and stupid.

Even more mind-boggling is the audience's embarrassing coping with it on Reddit. I'm generally sympathetic to the "it was just a joke" excuse (we've all fumbled the occasional joke), but when there's no intended setup or punchline to point to, that excuse falls apart and we ("We? We.") just need to accept that Vito is an attention-seeking loser at best and a pedophile at worst.

Guess I'll just switch over to audiobooks or something.

It’s not easy raising a kid and if 80sgirl goes back to work it would mean Dax will be at home taking care of the child.

Yeah there’s a huge difference between being good with kids a few hours at a time when you’re ready to spend some time with a kid and raising a kid 24/7. It helps to be able to be good with kids in that way, makes it so you can have fun with them now and then when they’re older, but caring first for a baby, which is just constant exhausting work, and then dealing with the kids all day every day when they’re older, having to be responsible for discipline and organizing their entire lives is a whole different ballpark, and one I don’t think Dax has shown any real aptitude for.
