If it does, there will never be any public admission. If the government decided to pull the vaccines for some safety reason, everyone would just stop talking about them. All the messaging would be quietly withdrawn, the vaccination centres would be closed down without fanfare, and then anyone asking questions would simply be frozen out or dismissed as a conspiracy theorist. In that sense, the UK media-political class still operate as if it's the early 80s and they have a monopoly on communications. Tragic thing is, they've got good reason to act that way, given how credulous the majority are whenever someone with a nice suit and an important-sounding title tells them what to believe.

That's how abandoning of the vaccines would look here, anyway. Abrupt silence and a refusal to engage on the matter. In six months to a year, it would slip from the national conscious and be forgotten for a couple of decades, when the consequences would be untennable enough that it has to be addressed in the usual way: promises of compensation and "assistance" that require the survivors to jump through numerous hoops, for a pittance that they will generally receive just a few months before they die.

They could abandon them any time with the perfectly valid reason that having 90%+ of the population infected and recovered from Omicron (which is inevitable) will provide so much whole virus immunity that the vaccines, while having proven incredibly useful and life saving, no longer serve a purpose except for maybe the very old, cancer and AIDS patients and extreme deathfats. The good thing about this approach is that it's half true.

Instead they're tripling down. It makes no sense from an epidemiological or public health perspective and I'm at a loss as to why this is happening.

2. Covering up the vaccine side effects and deaths by eliminating the control group
3. OAS in the vaxxed meaning many of them are incapable of natural immunity?

Take your pick and add on. Personally I don't get it.

I think they will cancel the mandatory nhs thing about a week before deadline. No way will they fuck off 70,000 staff because that will only leave about 5 people working in each hospital. If they stand their ground i will clap for them on thursday nights.
It is quite bonkers that this whole shitshow can be wound up so quickly and all it took was some hedonists to party too hard, cocaine in 10 of 12 parliament toilets, a chinese spy and some docs and nurses saying, "nope". No science involved in any of it.

Our heroic minister for health here in Germany wants a general mandate for vaccination come April or May. So when the season for coronaviruses is over. But it's all for the next season! So we vaccinate everyone with a vaccine that is known to be useless after four months, so people get their meager protection right when they really don't need it.

As the survey detailed, the Dems remain as bullish as ever in their stance to mandate COVID jabs. Fifty-five percent of those polled would support the government fining individuals who refuse to vaccinate.

An additional 59% of Democratic voters would favor a government policy confining the unvaccinated to their homes at all times, except for emergencies. In other words, the jackasses, err…donkeys, would prefer you stay home and skip work or school if you do not get a COVID shot.

Seems reasonable.

If you question the vaccine’s effectiveness on television, social media, radio, or pretty much anywhere else, nearly half of surveyed Democrats (48%) would support your imprisonment. Because science, right?

But wait, there’s more! Nearly half of Dems (47%) want the unvaxxed placed under surveillance to ensure they’re following social distance guidelines, per the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports survey.

Oh, and I forgot to mention — if you don’t have your COVID shot, better give little Joey and Jill an extra kiss before school, because nearly one-third (29%) of the Dems who were polled believe your children should be taken away from you if you refuse the vaccine.

Worse than that. I saw a documentary yonks ago, that said 1 pet dog is the equivalent to a family owning and using 4 large family cars (SUV's for the yanks) in terms of damage to the environment. Restrictions on, and then the culling of, pets is coming.

I'm not as optimistic. I think it's only the countries which had lax regulations like Sweden and countries where they had regulations but nobody gave a shit about them because they don't give a shit about what the government says like most of Slavland will follow suit with the UK in ending the farce. Coronacrazy countries like Austria, Germany and Italy will only double down and assfuck their populace even harder.

Big disagree on Germany et al doubling down. When the UK is back open for business with no restrictions, no jab requirements and everything back to normal, the Germans (and EU) cannot say "we're having more restrictions", as it would funnel a big chunk of business to the UK. Bonus points if the UK can send goods to the EU through some back-door legislation. It would potentially mean that the UK could make a product and sell it to the EU, easier than the EU could make the product.

Chuck on top of that the UK workers will be back at work, in full force, with more-or-less full staffing, while kraut factories are shut or severely restricted with workers...

Once the UK opens up, the EU, and the world, have to follow or face some pretty dire times financially.
