I agree. Just when it comes to Phase Connect possibly being influenced by Chinese members or staff, mainland verse Taiwan (or their children) makes a big difference. And I wanted to point out that she apparently sounds very very Taiwanese when she speaks it.

Everyone who is actually ethnically Chinese in the company seems to be good at not spilling their spaghetti, so I hope it won't become any problem.

Who has said Calli is in the wrong? Literally everywhere (here, reddit, YT) I've seen, everyone has said how awesome and based this was. About the only critism I've seen maybe is that she should have just ignored it from the getgo. But the problem is she was just blindly reading SC and didn't pre-read, so it was too late by the time she realized what the SC was about. And now she says she's going to stop doing that.

The only people that might take an issue are those on /vt/ but nobody is really going to take that seriously as they are just going to find something to flip out about anyway no matter what.

To be fair, I actually think Calli came off looking pretty bad from this and I like Calli.

If this was any other Twitch Thot scolding someone who dropped $100 to give their opinion and then said "If you want to criticise me, speak to my management", everyone would crucify her. Is the superchatter kinda cringe? Oh yes but she's not better.

The Conor thing is bad. He's forced himself into a lot of Vtuber communities by being the Vtuber hater and wants attention. He was shitting on Hololive, his implication was that even average streamers are popular in Hololive (which is true, but still). He did this all in public. Calli saying he walked it back only in private to her and her friends doesn't mean anything to the general public who have no idea. Conor is a drama queen, he likes attention and he has made it work for him but he kinda just hovers around near them until they notice him now.

Streamers with huge audiences usually only get criticism in supechats because it's the only way they'd ever see it. No one complains when Metokur gets it, or Ralph, or anyone like that. People are seriously acting like they are upset Calli had to go through something like this. It's a negative superchat. That's it.

People are just giving her a lot of leeway because she's a popular Vtuber and there is a lot of simping going on. Imagine if Pokimane did this, would you feel the same?

Sure people are gonna bitch about it but her responding to clear shit stirrer SC is not gonna help at all(and letting that SC live rent free on her head also isn't the best thing ever). And it was pretty fucking clear that guy wasn't her viewer.

Found this from /vt/. the "Keemstar of Vtubers" Narukami Sabaki is back and is using Tik Tok for his reporting.

His return from his ban on Youtube.

He almost got banned on Tik Tok because of his reporting to the Niji KR drama.

His other vids are him reporting the Vox drama, V-Katsu ending their service, and in his latest Tik Tok has something about Miko but not sure what. (can't understand moonrunes and the translation channel hasn't translated that Tik Tok yet.)

He claims that Miko "recovered" and returned to streaming from her long medical break after 3 months only because not uploading to youtube for 3 months causes demonetization. He claims Cover is lying and that it's actually cover up for being copyright striked again.
