Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

A few months back I spotted him in a couple of video's comment section doing the whole " We should collab, check your DMs ;) ;)" I'm pretty sure he got turned down by Wendigoon and it might be why he has that big chip on his shoulder
I've also noticed him popping up on a fair few comment sections (always heralding the insufferable twats going 'ooh look, Daddy's here, notice me senpai'!). For the most part I've just seen him comment to offer his opinion but I have definitely seen a few instances of him suggesting collabs. He's such a pick-me boy.

I guess Wendigoon has still enough subscribers to be in the "suck-up" phase, ColdRaven has seen his true colors and where did this lead him.

I don't think it's been discussed in the thread - what happened with ColdRaven? I did give his channel a try but I don't do well with people puking or using overexaggerated accents so I stopped following and eventually forgot about him. Last I saw, he and Moth were pretty chummy!

(edited - never mind, I ended up checking out Jimmy Whatshisface's video from a few days back and that's given a vague idea of what happened.)

Hope it's as sidekilling as the previous one.
The first installments of this series definitely gave me the creeps (M.A.D. kept me up at night), but I can definitely see how this series got memed to shit.

My opinion on vol. 2: I despise the voice acting in this, it's awful. It's like vol.1 (two faces talking to each other), but it's just. Worse.
As the creator stated a few times, this one has more of an early 2000s feel (despite there being an analog television? didn't they establish that there was a mandate to destroy all TVs and mirrors in like the 80s?), but I feel like he didn't do too much with the idea. I guess I was expecting like Bonzi Buddy type voice generators or some shit, not a dashcam guilt tripping the dude through a poorly-made fake error message. Idk why this is getting so much praise in the comments, honestly.

No, it's just so cliched that it's funny. I could predict every twist and turn in that shit. "Children's cartoon goes creepy" was creepypasted to hell years ago and that face that angel has is just ridiculous. Then this fucking public announcement that was done way better years ago by Local 58. But the funniest part was about interdimensional didler. Firstly, what's the fucking point to put on a TV for a toddler, who can't even sit? Secondly, the officer takes a picture outside of a house and goes "ehh, I am scared, can I go home, please?" and dispatch is like "mh, fine, we will just leave a camera that takes pictures by itself in this empty house, NOT in the room where it happened". And then this interdimensional pedo is all like "hey, look, I made that woman hang herself, I bet you didn't know this". I am not even talking that every segment has basically the same formula, so it gets predictable even outside of knowledge of cliches very quickly. And the only really scary picture there was the one taken from Delgado non-mystery, but face reconstructions are always scary.

Archive everything, make a thread and dump the info there (screenshots and archive.md only please, linking your friends videos will do jack shit and probably will make people think twice about "the source" as well). Moth's a psychotic grifting faggot and definitely deserves a thread. But you will have to make it yourself. NYPA.

Linking it here for reference:
Ill let Jimmy know i agreee in archiving everything. As far as linking vids if I found any other good vids on moth I would link them also that others who wanted to could verify the info and doc it accordingly. Im not promoting jimmy im trying to get the truth about a really bad hombre out.

It's kids and teenagers, that's the most obvious answer, it's their first 'serious' ARG, so they think it's the best shit ever. The same thing happened with the older generation regarding the Slenderman Youtube series, like MarbleHornets. If you rewatch now, you'll notice a lot of bad things that you didn't notice when you were young.
Talking about modern ARGs, I'm liking Monument Mythos so far, it's the most creative one out there. James Dean is my president.

It's really strange that the voice acting is as bad as it is, because this time both guys are "professionals". Or at the very least, they make their living out of voicing stuff online. And yet not a single voice line sounds natural or appropriate for the situation, the discussion near the climax in particular feels like they thought they were acting for some action anime. The dialogue itself unfortunately doesn't help, like 90% of their lines just feels really stiff and artificial. They speak less like close friends (or even acquaintances) and more like walking exposition machines.

You can tell that Alex wanted to go a bit different from his usual formula (which is a good thing, because it was getting pretty repetitive already), but he unfortunately never steps too far away from his comfort zone. The cursed haunted GPS taunting the guy and doing... apparently nothing else is such a goofy idea it'd fit better in his parody series. There are still a couple of cool ideas there, but this is a really underwhelming video.

For some reason, I assumed Adam was just voiced by Alex since this couldn't possibly be a professional voice actor.
To be fair, they're all pretty young.

It would be safe to assume that Gabriel Linan is also 18 or close to that.

I don't know how they think they'll get any sort of voice acting work currently, other than on Fiver or some shit.

Why is this series using the name of the former South African leader for their project name?
Because this whole thing takes place in "Mandela County".

Although, before I got into it, I thought the name choice was going to because of it's theme being the Mandela effect. But so far that does not seem to be the case.
