I mean realistically they are gonna snipe a chunk out of Ukraine at heavy cost. Inevitably they will take it all but its gonna take time. It will cost the Russians a lot of resources but should be a good long term investment.

Going straight to the Dniepr and no further could be viewed as minor incursion
It would be in line with the track record this child sniffer with literal :briefs: has had so far.

Will they snipe a chunk out of Ukraine? Yes. Will it result in a war with the West?
Probably not, but honestly, an invasion of Ukraine will not be an economically sound idea for Russia. They will be sanctioned even more, crippling their economy that is finally starting to boom thanks to natural gas discoveries. Russia's best bet would have been to get Europe hooked on its natural gas, binding the continent to them and making bank in the process.

Russia was fucked after Euromaidan honestly -- Ukraine was far better to them as an ally than an adversary, now run by Ukrainian nationalists (ironically, president Zelensky is an ethnic Jew, the very group of people that Ukrainian nationalists historically despised more than Russians). War is inevitable, but Russia will not gain much. Ukraine has been a shithole since the end of communism, since the collapse of the state farms and state purchasing of Ukrainian grain into the internal Soviet market fucked over a still largely agrarian nation, and unlike the rest of the ex-Eastern Bloc that transitioned to capitalist economies with relative ease (or in the case of Yeltsin's Russia, a kleptocracy), Ukraine's economy never really took off.

Eastern Europe is a land of suffering and always will be. There is no good ending for either Russia or Ukraine in this.

Dunno. You blow those bridges and communication lines over the river...deny commerce totally and then hit ammo and fuel dumps to the west of it those forces in Russia's path are in big trouble and completely cut off. They will fold pretty quickly i would imagine.

One thing for sure is ukraine will be hitting russian cities with Tochka and Scud missiles pretty easily and the S-400 will finally get its test.

Dniepr is a huge river. Blow the bridges and you aint fixing that anytime soon

Yeah I guess the US buying Alaska was also a fucking dumb idea too huh.

They are doing that anyways. The west is blowing up its own oil/gas production and killing off their nuke plants.
Europe wont put up with rolling backouts and they wont build any new reactors. Solar/wind is a meme. So they will have to buy energy from Russia.

Stealing land is super hard to do now a days if the Russians can pull it off it will pay dividends.

Pff...nah.

The west just does it with a pen, paper and interest rates. Ukraine being aligned with NATO is absolutely ridiculous and not normal, its literally because of a coup in 2014

What does the west have to offer a 1000 year old orthodox culture? Never ending planeloads of Niggers and gay rights?

Also the alska purchase was widely criticized at the time. People saw it as literally buying an iceberg and it didnt pay dividends until oil was found.

I do not understand what you are saying. They can have it but they need to pay us for it. Its not complicated. If you think wringing the Russian fags for blood and money is morally wrong or something why don't you sign up for them if its an issue. "Oh the poor Russians they are based and we should be their friends" stop being a coward traitor they are the enemy.

All im saying is its not hard to take land. Ukraine was aligned with Russia for 150 years until the color revolution of 2014 suddenly happened....the west took it with ease with the very public goal of not renewing the sevastapol naval base lease Russia relied on for its black sea fleet.

Putin responded and took crimea and here we are today.

You can clearly see with my timeline above how a western back color revolution has world wide repercussions.

Im not sucking up to Russia. I dont care. Just pointing out that the west caused all of this literally when they funded a revolution in 2014.

Russia doesnt want missiles 5 minutes flight time from Moscow. Its really easy for the west to say. "Oh yeah you know thats reasonable...we wont put missiles there" but they dont.

Thats literally what Russia is asking.

They're not even going to invade, and if they do it will simply be done to call the United State's bluff. All they seem to care about is not having NATO missiles right across the border, something reminiscent of a crisis in our own nations past...

Oh but they are going to invade

They dont have a choice. We are flooding ukraine with weapons and promising NATO membership.

If they dont take action they lose face. Nothing else they huff and puff about going forward matters.

The west gave up some ground during the cuban missile crisis. NATO doesnt even seem interested in talking this time around whereas dialogue was constant during the CMC

Non-publicized removal of American nuclear missiles from Turkey and Italy and an Agreement with the Soviet Union that the United States would never invade Cuba without direct provocation.

This is way different

Now...on that thought. The 6 Rapocha class landing vessels sweden was tracking.

I believe they are headed to cuba and i believe they are fully loaded with missiles amd other equipment.

We will see. Maybe putting nukes in cuba again is putins way out of not outright invading ukraine and pressuring NATO to back off.

A Russian invasion of Ukraine is about as likely as the spirit of Genghis Khan rising from the dead to burn down Moscow and turn it into his personal cumdump again. Some gay meeting of concessions will happen and this whole conflict will be overshadowed then forgotten as we all gawk at a future geopolitical shitshow.
