They wouldn't go scorched earth to the extent of actually starting a civil war or collapsing society (intentionally), the goal would be to cause public violence that could be blamed on the "tyranny" of Republicans. It worked with BLM in 2020 which put Trump in a very difficult situation, no reason they couldn't try for a repeat of the same.

The problem with trying to stoke 'just a little bit, a smidge of violence we can exploit' for political gains is the same as trying to start 'a small fire, just a little one I can easily put out' to get acclaim as a hero. Both situations very easily spin out of control and become the very thing you never wanted in the first place. You know, like the old golem story.

Or the COVID situation. Or the economy. Or Afghanistan. You know, like all the engineered crises that they were supposed to solve easily to demonstrate their competence compared to Trump?

I suspect the Democrats' strategy, now that they know they can't pass their agenda in Congress and pay their creditors, is to make the country ungovernable. The things they're saying are intended to set the stage for massive civil unrest after they lose power. Biden is saying that if they don't get their "voting rights" bill passed, the next election won't be legitimate. He's on stage screaming about George Wallace and Bull Connor. You can see it with the redditors talking about how the US will be a fascist corporate state forever if the Dems get voted out.

If they lose the midterms and especially if Trump takes back the White House in 2024, they may be planning to go scorched earth and direct their golems to burn and destroy as much of the country they can. The goal would be to make the fascist takeover a self-fulfilling prophecy, with the Secret Service left with no choice but to open up with automatic weapons on an armed mob trying to storm the White House. Photos and videos of the event would be plastered across every news channel, possibly intended to pave the way for a coup by the likes of General Milley in order to "restore democracy."

General Milley is too much of a pussy to stage a coup.

Time for right wingers to stand up or just sit down if they scared of being called "racist" so much since that is the inevitable endgame if that is where the Democrats are taking America.

The stock trading thing feels like somewhat of a red herring. Not saying it isn't worth banning. But it seems most of these people make their money off their children and family either trading the stock, starting surprisingly lucrative businesses, or being put into well paid positions they are in no way qualified for. And banning the individual politician or even their spouse from trading stock addresses none of that.

The calling out of the Supreme Court sounds like a juicy threat in my government fanfiction that exists in my head. Never thought about the Supreme Court trading on their judicial reviews, honestly not sure how without being to obvious but I can't think of any other reason for her to throw that threat in.

The extension works by pinging the server and displaying the dislikes, but the top image means that they have privated the number, so that the extension can't get the data and display it. Is it only for videos that are not unlisted?
