Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

An interesting post on Ace of Spades HQ, it links to two things that just happened to be ready to go after Biden's press conference yesterday where he stated he believed he'd outperformed people's expectations.

First, from the New York Times, an intereview with Frank Luntz's dunces on how they view Brandon:
Frank Luntz: Raise your hands if you agree with that statement, that this is the lowest point in your lifetime.
[Six of 14 raise their hands.]

Alice (60, Latina, New York, supervisor for homeless services): I think they've taken us back to cave man time, where you would walk around with a club. "I want what you have." You're not even safe to walk around and go to the train station, because somebody might throw you off the train, OK? It's a regression.

...

Dickie (38, white, Texas, financial analyst): When Alice was talking about the cave man thing, I can agree with that. I've had my bike stolen here in Austin, in a very gentrified neighborhood, four different times in the last seven, eight months. Things are kind of chaotic. I feel like there's no rules, really.

...

Patrick Healy: We're going to turn now to President Biden and want to talk about his first year in office. Can I get a word or phrase that describes President Biden?

Scott: Just calmness.

Kristine: Out of touch.

Tenae: Incoherent.

Jim: Reasonable.

Don: Functional adult.

Julia: Pathetic.

Mark: Clueless.

Nick: Detached.

Travis: Puppet.

Jules: Complete disaster.

Azariah: Spaced out.

Frank Luntz: Has Biden exceeded your expectations or fallen short? And explain why.

Jim: I think Biden is trying his very best.
In these times, it's just really hard to lead, and you know, he's a nice guy, and sometimes you don't need a nice guy being president. You just need someone tough.

Kristine: I didn't think he would ruin anything, but I didn't think he would improve anything, really. It would just kind of be status quo. But instead, he's incoherent without a teleprompter. I have questions about his mental health. And you know, my dad had dementia, so I'm concerned about that.

Frank Luntz: Does anyone here think that he's exceeded your expectations?

[No one raises a hand.]

And a poll from NBC on how the Dementia Patient in Chief has performed.

A full 5% agrees with Brandon's statement that he's overperformed anyone's expectations.

Not really the conspiratorial type, but to me all this coming out gives credence to @Gehenna's theory that Biden's staff deliberately threw him to the wolves yesterday.

He said more than that. He came back to that answer and fucked it up even worse.
Oh shit you’re right
Q Thank you, sir. I just wanted to clarify: A moment ago, you were asked whether or not you believed that we would have free and fair elections in 2022 if some of these state legislatures reformed their voting protocols. You said that it depends. Do you — do you think that they would in any way be illegitimate?

THE PRESIDENT: Oh, yeah, I think it easily could be — be illegitimate.

Imagine — imagine if, in fact, Trump has succeeded in convincing Pence to not count the votes.

Q Well, I —

THE PRESIDENT: Imagine if —

Go on.

Q In regard to 2022, sir — the midterm elections.

THE PRESIDENT: Oh, 2022. I mean, imagine if those attempts to say that the count was not legit. “You have to recount it and we’re not going to count — we’re going to discard the following votes.”

I mean, sure, but — I’m not going to say it’s going to be legit. It’s — the increase and the prospect of being illegitimate is in direct proportion to us not being able to get these — these reforms passed.

But I don’t think you’re going to see — you’re not going to see me and I don’t think you’re going to see the Democratic Party give up on — coming back and assuming that the attempt fails today.

Q And then, one more, sir. You know, you campaigned and you ran on a return to civility. And I know that you dispute the characterization that you called folks who would oppose those voting bills as being “Bull Connor” or “George Wallace,” but you said that they would be sort of in the same camp.

THE PRESIDENT: No, I didn’t say that. Look what I said. Go back and read what I said and tell me if you think I called anyone who voted on the side of the position taken by Bull Connor that they were Bull Connor.

Q And —

THE PRESIDENT: That is an interesting reading of English. You — I assume you got into journalism because you liked to write.

Q So did you expect that that would work with Senators Manchin or Sinema — that argument?

THE PRESIDENT: No, here’s the thing: There’s certain things that are so consequential you have to speak from your heart as well as your head.

I was speaking out forcefully on what I think to be at stake. That’s what it is.

And, by the way, no one — no one forgets who was on the side of King or — versus on — or Bull Connor. No one not — does not. The history books will note it.

And what — I was making the case, “Don’t think this is a freebie. You don’t get to vote this way, and then somehow it goes away. This will be — stick with you the rest of your career and long after you’re gone.”

Q And, Mr. President, if —

(Cross-talk by reporters.)

THE PRESIDENT: Folks, I’m —

Q Sir, what does the new normal look like?

THE PRESIDENT: Okay. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hang on, guys. We’ve only gone an hour and 20 minutes. I’ll keep going.

But I’m — but I’m going to go — let me get — let get something straight here: How long are you guys ready to go? You want to go for another hour or two?

Q Yes.

Q Until we all get called on, sir.

Q Until we all get a chance.

THE PRESIDENT: Okay. I’m going to go — I’ll tell you what, folks: I am going to go another 20 minutes, until a quarter of. Okay?

Yes, sir.

Q Thank you, President Biden. President Biden, on the — thank you. On — I’ll wait for the microphone.

President Biden, on the —

THE PRESIDENT: I want to thank my Communications staff for their great help here. (Laughter.)

I included the part where he starts threatening the now hostile journos with a good time

Realistically, the reason is usage. Women use the bathroom for chatting, doing their makeup, sanitary application of pads, etc etc. It's a communal space. Men go in, take a piss or shit, wash their hands, and leave.
@Android raptor sup tubs, can we get your thoughts on this? I think women just squat and piss and shit on the floor like some kind of rabid animals and it ain't a communal space, but that's me. Your thoughts?

Do we have a president? Is America a failed state?
To add to, I think, @Jet Fuel Johnny said, America is failing not because we have poor resource reserves or a bigger, scarier neighbor threatening our borders, but because its citizens are fatuous retards that let even bigger fatuous retards lead them. America was a nation predicated on the Enlightenment belief that we could reason with other people and compromise for a greater Good. What happens when people can't be reasoned with or even admit when they went too far? The whole system rots from within. Not even Trump can fix that.
After losing, she seems to have lost the will and drive that kept her going.

Numbers tend to fluctuate by region. Rural blacks are inching surprisingly close to 50%, but urban ones are sticking around 20%. That being said, the demographic vote for him in 2020 was 13%. Given urban blacks massively outnumber rural ones, its closest to about 22-23% total. Which is... incredibly bad for the Democrats.

Worth noting, it might not be representative of blacks as a whole. The supply shortages have really ravaged Wisconsin's urban centers and so its having an outsized impact.
13% cause 50% of all Democrat losses.
Does it matter? That lot is a loud minority, but a minority nonetheless. Average people, including moderate dems, are by and large over this shit.

They'll cry and piss and shid and coom for a while, but it would go a long way to gaining good will with the base.
No, I can't agree with that as California and New York are the base Democrat and they're full vax mandate. The "moderate" Dems need COVID to maintain their emergency powers. From Biden polling positive-ish on COVID to Emperor Sheev Newsom, it is their only claim of legitimacy they have left. Why though? Because the average Californian/New Yorker wants the vax mandates.
To be fair this idea isn't exactly unfounded. Ever clean a women's restroom after menstruating peoples of indeterminate genders or whatever have finished using them?

No idea why but a lot of women seem to believe they are entitled to throw blood and blood soaked things everywhere because "muh period."
Blood on the walls is to make sure that God can't see into the bathroom. A woman's version of Passover.

You know I'm still catching up. My only wish in the next Biden conference where he gets thrown to the wolves is that a bunch of reporters "preferable a mhong" one starts asking questions about his actions during the fall of South Vietnam and fall of Saigon and throwing our allies there to the wolves.

Please, someone start grilling him about that shit please!

@Oxous reply bug

Big cope. Pelosi is mad that everyone in Congress wants her to stop inside trading, so now she wants to "take the Supreme Court with us" (her words) and block them from trading also
The right wing twitter users making a show of pointing out her insider trading did more damage to Pelosi than anything the GOP has done in 20 years.

More of this, please.

Dems only lead 46-42 in NYS.

If there's one race the Dems might actually lose in New York State, it's the governor's race. NOBODY likes Hochul, and she wasn't even elected the first time.

I'm not saying it's going to happen, I'm saying that I am on ALL THE COPIUM right now.
Do the Dems even care about "the coasts" or is it literally just NYC, LA, San Francisco and DC?
