Omicron has only JUST hit Japan and wiped the floor with Nijisanji, so I can't imagine the country will be opening up to foreigners for 8x 3D debuts by March.

I really hope everyone in Hololive is extra careful the same doesn't happen to them. The people who need to be on-site for preparation and rehearsals etc isn't going to be any less of a threat in 2 months.

They probably will delay it then treat the concert just like Bloom, where it is broadcasted live with no live audience.

I think it's going to be an insanely rough year for live performances in Japan.

Omicron is described as milder but with a much higher infection rate. The laws and policies are probably in the process of being rectified to reflect the 'threat' as we speak. Even if there is no live audience, there's no guarantee a few dozen members and staff will be permitted either.

It's going to be a very touch-and-go few months.

Before Hololive and Vroids, what kind of VTubing was representing yourself as a virtual avatar and not revealing your face on YT? Also to become a VTuber one needs superb singing and to perform live with fellow stranger VTubers seems.

Yeah, Cover probably has enough time to pivot to an online-only event if necessary, but the government could easily extend the current travel restrictions (or make it more difficult to get exemption visas) making it impossible for EN/ID to perform there. I hope things work out for them.

well, I can see and understand why she'll eventually have that problem too; with her diet and the way she uses her voice to both speak and sing, coupled with the current weather conditions of Japan, its no wonder she strained her throat/cords to that extent.

Damn, was looking forward to the chadcast but hopefully the doofus listens to advice this time. It's common wisdom that if your throat is hurting the last thing you want to do is strain it, say by multiple recordings and streams etc. I haven't seen anything from iRyS other personas so I can't tell if she's putting on a voice or not but if so that's another strain.

Hard agree. Whenever I see anything with them in their default pose, it drives me nuts. You have over a year of shit to chose from. Stop using the damn default cutouts for absolutely everything.

Oh man I am actually so excited to see the 3D debut if it is that. I wonder if they're going to do a full dance and song routine like the JP girls. And if so how did they practice together despite being separate.

The ID girls are going to be fine for practices. They all live pretty much near to each other. For EN though, that's going to be an entirely logistical nightmare
