Warlockracy - Potatozone game reviewer, has good Fallout 2 and Morrowind mod reviews, why is there no discussion about him?

Stumbled across him and enjoy his stuff, he's informative and has an enjoyable cadence to things. He covers a good amount of things in his videos yet doesn't lean too far as to start autistically combing every single detail over or just kind've memelording his way through like Sseth. Listening to his take on STALKER was actually pretty neat, especially when he poked fun at himself during one of the updates.

Hopefully he won't turn into an asshair as he grows larger.

Speaking of new things to watch, he did a video on original BG with a side-panel of some commentary about the Beamdog content. I actually already felt similarly to his take on it, though maybe not so dismissive of the original writing. It's nothing great but I enjoyed it at the time.

Absolutely right that the game habitually vomits a wall of text then auto-slaps you with a new task though. I can only think of one quest that wasn't automatically shoved into your hands.. in a sense. It still shoved it into them if you walked into the next bit of it though.

yeah id say thats a fair criticism for that one. feels odd saying that because I really liked the arcanum (1:41:27) and deus ex (2:28:15) vids and BG rang in at 1:15:49. just didnt get into it as much.

yes, I know im a fucking sperg for checking the exact runtimes.

well the arcanum and deus ex videos had a lot to cover and very interesting bits to show the gnome/half ogre quest line took like 20 min alone i think. you really couldn't do them very well too short in the format he does. Baulders gate while a great game is just...dry? by comparison so it felt like it dragged. overall he rarely has a miss so everyone gets one. he's right up there with strat edgy for me. (my issues with the sum are opinion so i don't find it fair to judge it too harshly)

It seems like he literally went to school to learn about lefty political theory but refreshingly enough he mostly just focuses on the game he's talking about. Being a slav from Eastern Europe probably helps to curve potential faggotry.

Also, the section in the Arcanum video where he goes over what the gnomes had been up to had me laughing hysterically. You can't put stuff like that in a game anymore.

Oh, THAT guy. I have fond memories of him... You see, he used to be ROG PR, a Youtuber who did RW content in Russian part of the Internet. He was a NEET nerd who was praised by his fans, but other people thought that he was a lolcow. He eventually cut off ties with right wingers in a VERY messy break up and mutated into a leftoid. Horseshoe theory anyone?

But I liked his old videos. He had a very high quality stuff with intersting ideas. His new videos are very fine also. In a way I'm actually happy for the guy. He never was a RW in a first place, it seems. He was just an autistic nerd with some bizzare worldview, picked up by his sugar daddy Egor Pogrom (aka SwineHitler), who was a lolcow of gigantic proportions (literally). Some people rumored that some shady shit happened between those two. Like Egor trying to drug Warlockracy. Again, just rumours. And his fans were annoying, too. When Warlockracy wanted to end with RW YT, they started a major chimp out. So yeah, good for him. Political Youtube was never his place. Now he is happy and makes autistic videos about his favourite RPGs. What a happy ending for a lolcow.
