She needed unmitigated access to him on her terms, and she used the guilt of her own mental state to coerce him.

The fonts are spaced weirdly apart between the "Read" (which is also bolded and delivered isn't) and "2:20 p,m" above. Then the delivered is in a smaller font? But, these are very weird things to edit in, if it's fake she probably used something like PicsArt to edit this.

"Read" is actually bolded and bigger than "Delivered", but not by that much. Plus, the blue bubbles are more teal colored than Chantal's, but that might be a setting.
Another weird thing is the default icon used for people in your contacts usually has two colors, but for Chantal's it's just one.
I would chalk up any differences of mine to Chantal's to a different version of Android, but that "Delivered" is still very suspect to me.
Maybe the sizing and spacing gets messed up when you change the font size?

I dunno, jury's still out for me. Whaddya think?

It's fake. On Samsung S series, which Chantal has, the time displays as PM not p.m. As you can see in @Large Rodent 's own screenshot.
Also, 'Delivered' in Chantals totally real text message does not spell out over the time stamp, like it should.
