I suppose that's why hes on AO3. Original smut is actually rather hard to find. I don't know much about the AO3 smut scene other than the few times I looked into it, it made me cringe, and otherwise I do all I can to exclude smut from my searches.

It's really irritating to look for good writing and get slapped in the face with a dick. One of the problems of being a good writer is that you are primed to notice the shitty mistakes.

As someone who is currently on his & Fatman's patreon-only discord I can confirm this is a thing, especially with how active he is in the server's porn channels. He also hosts a regular group-reading of bad fanfiction every friday and in the last one I attended they started reading one that was nothing but shittily written sex scenes, apparently it was hilarious but I got bored partway through and fucked off because it was so fucking boring. Allegedly he's going to turn them into videos but I ain't seen shit, guess he's too busy being unemployed and writing a shitty fix-fic.

My guess is he doesn't get out much so his usual joke audience are the kinds of people who would laugh at that, and just assumes most others would feel the same.

Someone told me that their last "bad fanfic night" involved underaged non-con and he warned people about it with something about "tainting innocence." It's funny seeing what he considers bad writing, considering his own work. As for your last sentence, this applies to a lot of things, like his supposed next book. I'm excited for that one.

With this and recent posts in mind, I'm starting to realize why they held a voting session for the self admitted pedophile instead of kicking him out of the server immediately, and I don't like it one bit...

Which one was the guy who scribbled on a receipt while doing mickey d drive thrus?
 
Here's a million dollar answer. Most of the dedicated main char designs are finalized and approved by Erica/Monarch, as well as Celtic himself. YMMV if this implies that the overwhelming majority of the input/ideas are designed by these two, with most external output being potentially rejected even if they're allowed to submit.

I've seen work by Sun Plank for Salem that was rejected in favor of the Starving Shakira version by Erica. And a bazillion others.

I hope they show off the 3d models, there's some serious jank in those and they look awful up close.
