Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

If you seriously think a nation having a hard red line on an opposing force being able to set up shop right on their border is dumb you are beyond retarded and nobody should listen to anything you have to say regarding any potential geopolitical matters.

You don't have to agree or even like something to understand why it's being done.
You can understand why something is being done and still know that it's dumb to do it.

If that were the intent it backfired horribly since Democrats in Arizona fucking hate her right now and she almost certainly will lose to whatever Republican comes next time.

Addendum: Also, Senators can't really become lame ducks...
She was trying to walk the tightrope between having enough moderate appeal and having enough progressive appeal. I don't blame her for failing to walk that tightrope, the Democrats basically cut it by demanding that she acquiesce to an obvious power grab to eliminate the filibuster in order to pass Cheating Rights legislation in addition to multiple other things that are massively unpopular in Arizona, which Pedojoe didn't even legitimately win.

Manchin is intentionally making impossible demands. 'Dealing with the national debt', one of the very first demands he made, is a non-starter. And even if Biden somehow became a miracle worker capable of fixing all of America's financial problems, Manchin wants to rewrite Build Back Better, from scratch, including only the things he wants.

This is essentially just a more polite way of saying "I'm never negotiating with you fuckers ever again, and I don't need to because I am not accountable to you."

Even better, these undefined high ask demands give him just as much opportunity to nope out and cuck if the political winds turn against him. He's got all the cards here and he knows how to use them.

That is a very polite way to torpedo any attempt to pass anything, aye. Manchin is incredibly angry over the astounding misplay that was actively attacking his character from the podium of the President. Honestly not even surprised to find out he is playing the hardest of hardball.

Man this guy really took a 180. Wonder what his wife thinks considering how left wing she is?
Rogers is a closeted homosexual with ties to the gay mafia and David Geffin and slowly has gone insane with rage dealing with the gay mafia forcing him to bow to the intersectionalist death kult dogma.

He nearly killed his career simping for Collin Kaepernick and more to the point, has spent the last decade plus stuck in a series of sham relationships with women, having been dumped by his longtime boyfriend around 2009/2010 when Rogers backed out of a Geffen/Gay Mafia plan to force a ton of high profile/low profile NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL players to come out of the closet as a PR move to counter California telling the gays to fuck off when they banned gay marriage (because Geffen didn't want to sue the state to force the Supreme Court to shit or get off the pot in declaring gay marriage legal or illegal) and said boyfriend dumped him over refusing to do so, which killed the plan since a lot of low profile athletes only agreed to come out if there was a big name athlete to come out as well to serve as a lightning rod to the backlash they would get.

It's been said that Rogers wants to come out and get out from the shackles put on him by the gay mafia, but knows his career will be over if he does so and until then, he's basically at the mercy of Geffen and the gay mafia. Which is super bad, as Geffen is notorious for having people killed that threaten the gay mafia and their supremacy. Going off about COVID and attacking Joe is his way of kicking back at Geffen and company, since it's one of the few avenues he can defy the gay mafia publicly over since a lot of NFL fans share Roger's beliefs and it lets him paper over his betrayal of the NFL fans by simping for Kaepernick.

Mark Kelly is pretty useless. Does anyone want gun control now? My point about the battered body ruse comes from RotK, when Huang Gai and Zhou Yu pretended to have a falling out. Then, he proceeded to burn Cao Cao's ships as a feigned traitor. Sinema might consider changing parties with the intention of becoming the next McCain and sabotage the state Republican party from the inside.

Wasn't America in a yuge depression/recession/financially fucked, prior to both world wars and that's why they 'joined in'? after the rothschilds etc had made as much money as possible from both sides, like they did in the other wars
Not exactly.

America was doing OK financially but when WW1 broke out, we saw a MASSIVE boom bubble due to the French and British needing financial aid from the US to help them finance the war on their end via massive financial loans. Also, the fact that America was untouched by the actual fighting and came into battle only at the very end of the war, so US troops suffered casualties that were way less than the casualties suffered by every other country.

Now WW2 was a case where you are correct. The New Deal had stopped the bleeding from the Great Depression but the economy was still on life support and there was only a minor rebound after two terms of FDR. The second World War effectively was the necessary catalyst to push recovery into overdrive and restore us to pre-Black Friday prosperity. Especially since, as in the case of WW1, we were the only industrialized nation NOT devastated by war when WW2 ended.

Well even the wise Latina RBG didnt like Roe vs Wade so honestly it's just better for both sides that the law is struck down. Let California have their abortion haven, as much as Texas have their free-range ban.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. Overturning Roe Vs Wade is a door the GOP DO NOT want to go down. Not only would it give the DNC a rallying cry to win the 2022 Congressional elections, but also 2024 AND beyond as far as revitalizing the party on the local, state, and federal level around legalizing abortion, drawing moderates away from the GOP (since a lot of GOP moderates don't care about abortion at worst and at best tacitly are OK with it, often under the guise of "I'm OK with abortion because rape and incest babies happen and also sometimes you have to kill the unborn child to save the mother's life").

If abortion is made illegal on a state per state basis, then it's game over for the GOP. Biden/Harris will ride that train to retain power and revitalize the 50 state strategy solely around keeping abortion legal in all fifty states. WORSE, it would revitalize the fundies, who would be able to silence/disenfranchise the populist wing of the GOP by claiming they won't vote PERIOD unless the GOP ban abortion in all fifty states and keep it illegal.

Why would him coming out end his career? He throws a football. His teammates aren't going to care and I don't think the fans will care. He's arguably the best QB playing today. Sports have always been a meritocracy.

That wasn't even the most triggering for the left moment of last night's Real Time.

The final segment was Bill essentially saying (with a lot of ass saving caveats upfront) that Biden's a complete and total failure and Harris unfit for the Presidency, to a degree that the Democrats need to enact an insanely batshit plan where Biden and Obama divorce their wives and enter into a sham marriage so that Obama can live in the White House and be defacto unelected President while Biden is kept in a locked room, a literal dementia style vegetable.

So yeah, whoever had Bill Maher in the pool for being the first person to say "let's get rid of Biden", collect your money at the front gate.

No, it looks like a battered body ruse. She's a senator in a Republican state that the locals know is the most liberal senator. To avoid becoming a lame duck like Mark Kelly, she has to appear moderate to have some kind of Maverick effectiveness and pick up dumb independents.

This is true but if she really wanted to appear moderate she shouldn't have voted against Trump in the two fake impeachments, that alone will come back to bite her hard when it comes voting time, especially if Trump's still around and pushes for a Republican candidate to run against her.

Addendum: Also, Senators can't really become lame ducks...

For certain ones you could consider them lame ducks, like Doug Jones from Alabama, like that was clearly a lame duck run because Alabama voters weren't gonna let him just stay in office especially when he was so open about his Trump hatred; also considering he only got in because of voter shenanigans and the Roy Moore scandal.

I think you're overstating this case by a lot. The Democrats have painted themselves into their current corner through breathtaking arrogance and economic mismanagement, but if the SCOTUS strikes Roe, everyone's going to just forget about bare shelves, rampant crime, and Carter-esque inflation so they can die on Dead Baby Smoothie Hill?

A lame-duck isn't a politician who will lose their next election, though generally, the qualities which make a lame-duck will ensure it. A lame-duck is a politician unable to do anything, an ineffective politician. Senators are almost always able to do something, even if not for many benefits, and thus generally are not fit for the lame-duck title.

I can remember several years ago when a college player came out and sports coverage was nothing but "STUNNING AND BRAVE!1!!!!1111!!!!" for several weeks to the point it became a joke. He had a brief NFL career but very quickly fizzled out and now doesn't exist anymore. I don't remember the name but I'm pretty sure he also ended up playing for the...Rams.

The World Wars helped catapult the American economy for entirely different reasons than it merely being a war. We were the sole nation with significant industrial capacity that wasn't ravaged to hell and back after all the major nations had been duking it out amongst themselves for a while and flattening their own shit.
The U.S., South Africa, Australia and Canada really - which is why all those states had ridiculously high levels of personal wealth for the average person post-war (South Africa was aided by the massive importation of cheap black labor from elsewhere in Southern Africa because the Afrikaners couldn't be bothered to mine their own gold - this bit them in the ass later on). They all became powerhouse settler states.
