Yeaaaaah, this one is big. Pearlish graduating is a fucking alarm bell that something is happening. I mentioned this for Chimon, but there's no discernable reason for an Indie to ever 'graduate' unless it's due to personal circumstances or they got a company gig.

I'd be hard-pressed to believe two Hanamori members graduating within a couple weeks of each other is a coincidence.

This is pretty much where I'm at. There's a near infinite amount of vtubers and only so many hours in the day. I'm satisfied with the handful I follow, and there's other crap I like to spend my free time on. Plus, my interest in vtubers already occasionally wanes, I can't imagine trying to follow more than a few.

As for male vtubers in general, I already listen to/watch a variety of different guys yammer about video games and other stuff, so the appeal just isn't there for me.

On the topic on Niji I actually really like Elira and Selen(not her apex streams) and Reimu, Vox, and Luca are all good options too. My problem is that I don't really like the others that much and there are some that just annoy me with every word they say and thing they do, and Niji seems (at least to me) to collab more often than Hololive.

Compared that to HoloEN which has 4 members I really like, most of the rest who I enjoy, and only 2 who I don't like much at all. They don't collab as much as Niji does so its easier to ignore the ones I don't like. And by sticking to just one company its easier to get into and enjoy the special events and stuff rather than trying to follow 2. That being said I would love to see Elira and Selen collab with HoloEN someday, and still catch the occasional stream (or more likely watch the vod) of theirs.

This is pretty much why I don't really care about the possibility of HoloEN getting stars members or Holostars opening a EN branch. I already follow a lot of streamers/letsplayers, most of which are male, so its just more people to watch with my limited amount of time. In fact if i had found very many good female streamers prior to discovering hololive I probably wouldn't have fallen down the rabbit hole.
