Mega Rad Gun Thread

I have a complete Bushmaster for my 5.56 AR, no complaints about the entire rifle and I've put about 1k rounds through it. This gunthread doesn't have enough pictures:

300BLK PSA Upper/Lower/BCG
Magpul stock, grip, backup sights
Nikon P-300 Blackout Rifle Scope 2-7x 32mm BDC on a q/d mount with repeatable origin
China-Special bipod and light
BOG FieldPod Magnum
Not Pictured: China-Special NV monocle and 18650 IR illuminator- I need to figure out how I am going to mount it inline with the scope.

Fine - I'll add a picture of one of mine:

Upper is an Aero M4E1 with a Faxon Gunner barrel and 12" Atlas S-One with some MLOK shit attached. CH is the BCM ambi one and I can't remember where I sourced the BCG. Lower is a KP15 with a Hiperfire DMR trigger and the JPE captive buffer, plus bits and bobs. Has a Holosun HS503G that I usually run with a magnifier on a QD mount, but that was on one of my other ARs at the time of this photo.

From an ease of carrying and shooting perspective, this thing is probably my favorite rifle I own.

How do you like it? I have some UTG stuff on my Bushmaster at the moment and need to get a proper optic for it:

Mossberg MVP 5.56 w/ Nikon- it might as well be a beam rifle. I don't know if it's my shitty (((IMI))) ammo or a firing pin defect but I'm having rounds fail to fire a bit too frequently.

(Edit: Sold, transferred, or otherwise no longer within my care/custody/control as of 01/26/2022)

I'm a fan - the tip of the chevron and the BDC holds are fantastic if you're running it magnified and works just as well as a 2MOA dot if not and it has the horseshoe for close stuff. I haven't been kind to it and it keeps on kicking.

Wow something actually new and interesting at SHOT. Until you get to the MSRP, lol 2k for this?
This thing looks stupid, but they're only importing 700 a year so enough "collectors" will buy it to justify the price. Maybe I'm wrong, but I dont see how they'd fit any kind of recoil mitigation system into that upper.

"It is a striker fired, which is very unique in a small format. Striker fired gun with Glock magazines."

I can think of like 17 other small striker fired guns that take Glock mags, bro...

Unique how? Blow back op, striker fired, square bolt which probably goes over the chamber, so basically like an Uzi, but a lot of earlier Czech guns had similar config.

My guess is lower is serialized, so it would be easy to print your own, but then you can just print your own Tec9 lower (for glock mags too) and under $500 easy.

Interesting in the sense it's not just an AR/AK but in a different caliber, because that's all we really got this year.

If you guys were going to get a gun in .308, what would you choose?

I've considered the SCAR 17, MR762, SIG 716, and Springfield M1A series ( less so now though, as I've read alot of people having reliability issues with them)

What do you plan to use it for?

For what it’s worth, I’ve never had any reliability issues with my Springfield M1A (sample size of one, etc.). It’s a little older; built about 25 years ago; maybe current QA isn’t as good.
