Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Why does Mr. Skirt-Wearing Pervert have other kids fighting for his honor like this? Has anyone explained the connection between him and the ones who're attacking the accuser?
The entire thing is a big black box. The best theory is that he's part of an LGBT club/gang at the school, so kids are being groomed to be insane antifa foot soldiers defending troons. This goes all the way up to their parents and the activists who originally showed up at the school board meeting to call the girl a liar to her dad's face, starting the fight that got him labeled a domestic terrorist and triggered the National School Board Association letter getting the DOJ involved. It's an insane cartel, but it's hard to put the pieces together because half of the participants are minors.

Hopefully we will learn plenty more when the new AG finishes the probe on Loudoun.

Someone on Twitter posted a blurry photo that was allegedly the rapist and he appears to be black. A black troon is like the holy grail of social justice.
No, he's white. This is him. He has a single mom who defends him constantly, but just based on her interviews, I don't think she's exactly well-connected.

Putting a justice on the Supreme Court is different from banning abortion. "If you defeat your enemies, they win" suggests that banning abortion will somehow "defeat" the Democrats and afterward they won't have political power anymore. That isn't the case; it would massively boost their supporters and give them an issue to motivate turnout, just like how Proposition 8 was the last gasp of Republicans in California that galvanized the gay political machine to crush them.

If people are like "uh oh, now I can't have casual sex without risking parenthood," it'll light a fire under them to change the law and vote out the people responsible for banning abortion. All the woke idiocy they preach, the tranny bathroom laws and CRT and homeless aid doesn't have that kind of power to move people because it doesn't directly affect their lives and choices. People support it because it reinforces their "enlightened" self-image but far fewer will actually volunteer and sacrifice time and money for it. If abortion is banned you'll see people volunteer for the Democrats who were never involved in political organizing before, people who aren't just doing it to fill a space on their resume so they can move up to more important political work.

And why am I supposed to care about unborn babies anyway? If Person A can't survive but for Person B, Person B is still within their rights to disassociate from them, the same as I wouldn't dispute the right of the Chandlers to evict Chris like they should have done. "Compassion for the voiceless and the less fortunate" is the reason the left gives for wanting to send tax money to increase birthrates in the third world and allow enemy invaders across our borders. Unwanted children go to the jails, the street corners and the tent cities and shore up the ranks of Democrat voters.
In 2020, the conservative justices were all on the bench. New abortion bans were in place in many states and headed to the court for debate. A lot of people before the 2020 election said it was foolish for the GOP to immediately push challenges to abortion rights before the election. And at first glance, you'd think, "Well, Trump lost, so that was a major factor."

But

"Wow, 40% of people are motivated by abortion rights, that's a lot, the Dems will benefit from this..."

Abortion isn't going to do anything to stanch the extreme bleeding Democrats are experiencing on the 11 issues listed above it, and not when conservatives are MORE energized on the issue and contribute to its rank as a priority for voters. Look at this, it's as low a priority for Dems as race is for Republicans.

This is why I just don't get the argument that somehow SCOTUS ruling Roe is bad law will result in big gains for the Democrats. Even if we assume the issue is 50/50 and not a slight lean Republican issue... that just energizes both sides. It's not like the Democrats are the only side who cares about this topic. The closest I can come up with to an argument that works with the concept is

"With the Democrats severely demoralized, Abortion will give the Democrats something to make hay on which will reenergize a portion fo their electorate".

The problem. If this argument is accepted then there will -never- be a time for this issue. And it's equally applicable to... a ton of other issues. Basically all, in fact. It's so broad that it would only ever work if the issue dominated the majority of Americans' minds, lopsided towards the Democrat's position.

I very much agree with you that bringing some of these issues to a head is necessary. Immigration, too, has just been strung along for decades. There's probably a good chunk of people who just don't want to think about it anymore and would appreciate it being dealt with.

Many of these issues have been artificially extended because it serves a purpose to the uniparty. Issues with a close to 50/50 split that they could keep going in perpetuity for mutual self-gain and which would let them bypass covering any new issues. It is not normal or natural for issues to go on so long without any shift in public opinion.

The thing with Roe vs Wade being potentially overturned makes no sense to me as a hold the line issue since it just makes it states’ rights. Which is what it should be. Texas says no, California says kill all the kids? Fine. Move to whatever state you support or vote for whatever you support in whatever state you live in.
It's also great for containment. The worst of the worst liberal parasites will stay in their containment zones and keep voting in their already ruined states rather than spreading. If we could get faggot marrage left to states rights it would pay dividends as well.

this
there's a case made that even if you want abortions RvW is pretty dodgy standing for them, and it would probably be better if some party that had a majority in congress and the executive branch were to just legislate something legit style, but gosh that hasn't happened

Unfortunately the Dems realized they can't really leave it to the states either. Remember Proposition 8 in California? It originally passed and had to be overturned in court. Yeah, the progs do not want to leave anything to the general public.

Conservatives are willing to let the Left do their own thing in their own states. The Left needs everyone to agree with them and would never allow that if they could help it.

There's the concern everyone has with overturning RvW, even if nobody wants to admit it.

I caught the father on Tucker one night after the troon's trial was over and he wasn't exactly 100%, he looked like he was tweaking on something, really had trouble stringing two sentences together. Tucker cut him off pretty fast. He, the mother and daughter also asked the court not to sent the rapist to prison but get him "help" in a vague and weird way, so the judge gave him a very light sentence but ordered he be added to the sex offender's registry for life. Which, give their kid is now a punching bag at school is very strange, I'd demand the heaviest sentence possible and send my kid to a private school if she were my child. They seem like they were pretty liberal themselves until diversity came a-knocking and even then can't really grasp the situation.

Now my sympathy for them has dropped. Too dumb to realize just how much trouble they're in.

This is why the Conservative party needs to start writing Defensive legislation, not just hand sitting. They need to realize that their assumption that No Law = Good Law by virtue of "the government need not involve itself" isn't working. Instead, they need to come out and explicitly legislate where the government shall not tread. Explicitly affirm rights that exist with the state and privilege's that exist with the person.

On Abortion specifically, an overturn is a net win for conservatives, even if the democrats wake up and rally. A rally is good - It focuses your enemies energy on one singular cause, and makes it easier to counter it. One of the big troubles has been how the Democrats have snaked toxic ideology passively into so many things, its diffused. But whenever they have to start using these apparatus, they are discovered and dismantled, such as CRT in schools. Forcing the Democrats onto the backfoot and to rally allows more of these hidden dens of poison to be found and rooted out when they're forced to use them to back the position.

Forcing your enemy to fight harder is always a win, letting them rest and collect strength and build out is how you get this shit show in the first place.

"We have to PROTECT DEMOCRACY!!!!!1!"

yeah dad was a bitch ever since the school board meeting, I assume "plumber to the glows" is merely code for "glow who plumbers"
While I sympathize, the nation's Two Minutes Hate media machine focused on them like ants under a magnifying glass. With the daughter getting bullied, I'm sure their house was visited by angry citizens, and probably also by local, state and federal officials or their lackeys. The police might have harassed them, or the feds. Plus media vans or private eyes parked at the end of the street 24/7. The man went to a school board meeting to get his government to work for him, and all this told has him what his current government actually does.

I still think the only reason he was really pissed was that he couldn't sell his daughter's ass as virgin anymore to some higher glow.

it's because people unconsciously associate the debate with the old school women who supported abortion rights in the 70s. and they think those women are going to be involved this time around. this is just one of many, many examples of deferring the realization that there are no adults, even to one's own detriment.
