Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

I thought it would be of interest to Canadian Kiwis to have a thread to discuss the Trucker’s Convoy as it is unfolding.

Some key points:

•Up to 50k truckers are on their way to Ottawa to block off the city until the federal government drops all mandates
•They also plan on staying there until the ENTIRE government resigns if they refuse to lift mandates
•There is a GoFundMe for this convoy, which has passed the $3.5 million mark that is meant to cover the cost of fuel, food and motel costs for truckers. The GoFundMe link is here

Naturally, It comes as no surprise that the leaf journalists hold nothing but contempt towards this protest.

•Trudeau went into hiding and then released a public statement of him basically tripling down on calling the truckers right wing extremists:

•Gofundme seized the funds and attempted to donate the $10 million raised to send to other charities. They then quickly realized this was bad optics and are allowing 7-10 days to give out full refunds.

They would be coming at the right time to disrupt the production of those Hallmark Christmas movies in the Ottawa area (usually filmed in Almonte, in the Ottawa Valley to the west of Ottawa proper) since February is the main month for filming, or at least it is for the exterior shots, considering that there's more daylight than in December and, most years, there's still plenty of fresh-looking snow on the ground.

Many years, they can extend exterior filming into March but it's kind of a crapshoot as to when the big thaw starts and, even if March stays below freezing, whether there'll be enough fresh new snow to offset the dirty-looking snow from previous months since snow doesn't exactly stay looking "fresh" until it melts.

Hollywood is a fucking disgusting place literally and figuratively, but what I have always hated the most is these pretentious fags in the city going to Vancouver and Toronto, and then New Mexico and Georgia to film stuff. And they do this while pretending to care for the workers and the small folks in the unions of their beloved blue state. The CW shows are mainly in Vancouver, Handmaid's Tale and a bunch of movies are in Toronto.
