Stop, my penis can only get so erect!
Don't be so gleeful. The Republicans are nowhere near ready to handle that surge of power. The Trumpian populists do not yet have the numbers. It's a good possibility that its going to be RINO rule in the Midterms and only possibly salvaging it in 2024. So many points of failure, so many possible pitfalls.

Threading the needle doesn't cover it.

Every form of control has broken down, the bread is no longer on the shelves, the circuses lost their effectiveness half a decade ago. They seized power, wasted it, could do nothing with it, and now all the bills are past due, they have no way to pay them off, and the next two election cycles are going to be true hell.
What I'm truly worried about is that the GOP might not have any actual answers to alot of our problems either and are going to be just as rudderless once they get control of the federal government. I think that's when things are going to get really miserable.

Covered that a bit in my last response. So let me describe the thread here.

Trumpian Populism. Now, love or hate the man (and there is plenty for both), Trump at least put on the pretense of loving his country and the people in it. We can quibble as to how much of that was genuine, but the man at least staked his name in it. The movement he spawned and is vanguard is slowly subsuming the entirety of the Republicans and if you have seen the latest polling data on Liz Cheney... rather thoroughly destroying the RINOs.

But that takes time. It all takes time. And everything is trying to sabotage it.

It's all ready low quality. Do you think the Chinese will find a new way to make an even lower quality knock off?
The one bitter upside. If we fall then China falls.

Think of the U.S. and China as two one-legged giants leaning on eachother. Our economies are so closely entwined that if one were to ever fall to ruin the other would be -devastated- as well. The U.S. could survive, if in a ragged state, in the long term from China falling. If the U.S. falls though, China will stop being a thing within three decades tops.

for what it's worth at local grassroot, local STOP MANDATES (in other states because lol we're FL we don't give a shit) rally this weekend, there was, I think three different state legislature GOP hopefuls for the district showed up to wave the flag and kiss babies and shit
even if it's performative it's pretty clear what performance is being expected to go well with the electorate

Assuming I am correct on my suspicion and idle consideration here, none. I am leaving open the chance more info will change my mind, but if I am currently right they have chosen instead to burn it down as much as they can.

The final form of doubling down, you could say.
Pardon a bit of a tangent, but this level of spite reminds me of what happened to the KKK with D.C Stephenson.

Corrupt as you could get, knew all the major players. got his ass nailed to the wall for raping and murdering a girl. He was so screwed none of this connections could get him out. So he decided to name names and essentially destroyed the KKK and the political establishment of Indiana, inside and out.

Ive read about that happening in those undergoing advanced demonic possession as well. If they cant get out of a situation, they will take everyone down with them. It's the nature of evil.

I have kept a close track of the success of the Trumpian Populists. I am grim about their ability to achieve their needed goals in 2022. That being said, have some dick hardening.

And the seeds were there already. Perotism through the Tea Party and the Ron Paul revolution, and Trump just happened to be someone savvy enough to run with it.
If the party doesn't pick up the populist mantle, it'll be pretty much a wasted opportunity - a neoconservative Republican majority would just fill positions with friends, quash some troublesome executive orders, and generally have no clue what else to do because apart from "winning the game" they don't know what to do with the prize.

If things fall apart, the US will hurt for a while - possibly a long while, like 20+ years - but we will recover and ultimately come out better for it, I feel. Americans don't need to consoom cheap Chinese goods, that shit's a convenience, not a necessity. China, on the other hand, desperately needs American consoomers.

This is the way America ends....not with a bang, but a dementia-addled whimper. *sigh*
I do a lot of doomposting, but from a historical perspective, look up fren. Believe it or not we have been in comparably shitty situations before. There is definitely a real risk that we might be a nuclear wasteland by 2024 due to this stupid fucker getting us in a major war... but with regards to the other shit, we have dealt with retards that crippled the country before, and we managed to crawl back every time. It will just take time, and hopefully people will finally grow some balls and remember to punish the people who got us here when it's over. Because it really, really pisses me the fuck off that I have been robbed of the life I worked hard to earn my right to enjoy, and it pisses me off even more that entire generations of American kids won't get to know the great America I grew up in for probably decades, all because a bunch of bent broke cocksuckers got so assblasted by mean tweets they gave control of the country to an enemy of the state (China) by means of a vassal (Biden).

Historically this nation has been at its absolute peak, its strongest and most powerful, its most impressive and abundant, when we remained faithful to God.
I propose the largest burnt offering in history and I propose we use our fattest leftists as the sacrifice. Shouldn't be hard to find some hardcore lefties that weigh as much as an ox, we can start with Stelter and Palmer. A new Inquisition, based not on a Catholic power grab, but on making the world ready for Christ's return.

They require a critical mass of positions in both the House and Senate. The House looks good, the Senate looks bad and they need both to do anything.
Not to mention the entrenched perma-government in the various executive branch agencies that will work nonstop to stymie populist elected officials. The sand they were able to throw in the gears for Trump's presidency fucked up alot of potential things he could have done. The fact that he was able to accomplish as much as he did is pretty impressive, considering.
