I think another factor in the general population souring on troons is that they’ve begun to realize there’s a real goal difference here. Exceptions exist, of course, but it’s largely:

There was a survey done by PRRI last year, I linked it quite a while back, I can find it again if people want it, that said most people across party lines agreed that trans people should not be discriminated against, but they should pee in bathrooms of their natal sex, play sports in their natal sex, and go to prison in their natal sex.

Even Democrats were saying these things, though the percentages were smaller than independents and Republicans. But even the Republicans thought that no trans person should lose their housing or job or be treated badly by Healthcare professionals just for being trans.

Basically, Americans, by and large, are TERFs.

Always these stories about being the problem employee, needing extra support, writing letters to management, and wondering why all the working people around them got tired of it and wanted them to leave. If you're going to try and be the workplace activist, yes, you will be targeted. That's not a value statement, that's a fact. That is what it is to be a workplace activist. Don't act all sad that you "tried to do the right thing" like you were expecting a reward for it.

Last year, we got a school email regarding international "womxn"'s day. The next day, we got a correction email apologizing for using the word "womxn" because it "excludes TW and makes them feel like they're not women enough." The sad part, the person who wrote the email was a black woman who later resigned for being made to apologize for using "womxn." What gets to me the most, is that the only reason trannies complained about "womxn" was because Latinos were complaining about "Latinx." It makes me laugh how people will bend over backwards to change "womxn" because it offends trannies--fuck that it offends actual, natal women--but will ignore Latinos when they say the term doesn't identify them. The middle-class white privilage was never more blatantly obvious.

This is part of the way the modern genderspecial movement emerged. It was a certain class of gay activist who's entire existence is consumed with the idea of being "queer". It's like if you decided your entire life was one insufferable piece of protest art. It emerges in the 90s and gains strength in the 00's as a fight against "assimilationist tendencies" in the gay rights movement, by which they meant the tendency of most gay men and lesbians to desire living normal lives instead of considering their sexual orientation a call to political action. For these people, to be "queer", you had to be pushing the envelope constantly, and though they would never admit it, it was all about a smug sense of superiority over the boring straights.

Telling troons to dilate is one of those perfect memes that says so much with so little. Dilating is supposedly so painful that trannies will cry, scream, and pass out from it- some will abandon all hope of maintaining this schedule within a year, most within five years. If they haven't got the surgery yet, it reminds them they have a dick still. It points out that the one's who have the surgery have to do a time consuming chore that a normal human woman doesn't require. All this tranny can do is point to medical anomalies that usually resolve quickly to lamely attempt to rope womanhood in general into this activity. Sorry troons, real women don't need a daily schedule of medical grade dildos to keep our vaginas open for business. We just exist, have pleasurable sex and forget about the rest.

Yep, that was them, thought they weren't the only org that formed at that time. They are behind the famous "Here, Queer, Get used to it!" slogan. The anger people were experiencing was real, but as mainstream society began to take notice and respond (and with AIDS, it has objectively responded quite well to the problem), these same people got all bent out of shape that gays were being normalized. Act Up and Queer Nation both protested Don't Ask, Don't Tell, but Sycamore is one of many of these radical queers to later decry gay people serving in the military as assimilationist. For them, the issue wasn't material reality, it was the way the righteous anger at the world made them feel. They felt superior to "procreation and heterosexuality" through their anger. Many of these people are sort of victims of their own success, who have latched on to this new trans wave as a way to recapture that Robespierre like revolutionary zeal that they miss. It wasn't hard for AGP people to sneak into the movement and poison it at that point, because it was all about sticking it to the normies.
