To be fair that's a reasonable interpretation od what's being said, but I think it's the rat that's not doing well. It seems as though Alyssa got a Pitbull puppy (why) just before this incident occured, and I don't think it could've died so quickly.

I assumed the “pupper” being mentioned was actually the one she’s currently dog sitting. But OK, they are both crazy / irresponsible enough to get another dog when they don’t have the income to buy food for themselves.

I would honest-to-God pay to see the tranch filmed Big Brother style. I feel like this would be a big opportunity for them. They have zero shame, need the money, and could spread awareness of the troon lifestyle. And with the money, they could buy more property and build up to bring in more troons/story characters.
