Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

I also saw a few other things. Maybe they just tossed it on to symbolically represent a load, but I saw a beat up portable building. There's no reason to drag those to Ontario, they're all over the place.

The very first thing I saw was a piece of old heavy equipment. Why would you waste the fuel to drag that down here? Then I thought they are just scrapping it or something then go to the protest after, but there's scrap dealers all over between Victoria and Ottawa. Then I saw the boat and that's what made me consider it may be like what they did during Oka to blockade the roads. They had loads of logs and everything.
There was at least one fully loaded log truck. 3 flats of logs. I'm personally quite excited for escalation

The guys of American Thinker posted this funny Trudeau toon.

Anyone got an updated link to any livestreams? A whole bunch went offline, even though Trudeau is still in hiding
The streamers/aggregators I have been following all seem to be offline, maybe all still asleep from staying up late last night. Here are some channels I think are alright for when they do come back online:
VIDSTORM
Ottawalks
Portland Andy
Mak Ton
Shadowman1981
The 4K Guy - Fire & Police (this guy is posting clips rather than streams)
It is pretty annoying how many people on the ground seem to be streaming through Facebook, since I do not have a Facebook account.

Update: just found a few that are currently live

I saw one or maybe two with raw lumber, and another with processed boards. I'm sure a few people had a run to do and just stuck around after. Or came by to show support and gawk then got stuck.

Companies are already on the path to replacing these people with automation but they don't seem clued in on that yet.
Hahahaha no. I have a Model 3 with FSD and it struggles with:

- Shadows
- Moisture
- Clearly visible traffic lights
- Bird shit on sensors

And it flat-out can't handle:

- Rain
- Snow
- Construction zones
- Stationary vehicles
- Roads with curves

I used to think we were five years off from self-driving, five years ago. Now I think we're 25 years off. Just sitting at a red light, the cars it sees around it will pop in and out of existence. The software, which is representative of the state of the art in the industry, has gotten notably worse in the time I've been using it, as they try to rework the algorithms.

An AI isn't putting on snow chains at a mountain pass. It's not hitting runaway truck ramps when the brakes overheat. It's not driving into the median to avoid a collision. It's not dealing with Chinese PLA hackers attacking the network remotely. Truckers aren't going anywhere.

Terry Fox was not a political figure and my relative driving for 47 years across North America knew he had it easy compared to growing up on the farm.

He also frequently helped during traffic accidents by blocking traffic before cops arrived. You're literally enclosed in a cab for 12 hours a day if not locked in a motel with no time for real fun. If you actually have to work hard. If you don't then you probably have days or weeks in between runs.

To the person who suggested citizens leave their homes to go on vacation to avoid the protest- that's fucking stupid and suggests over 10k+ people can afford to do so. Also if it comes down to don't like it then leave- literally the same can be said for the truckers. Don't like the rules? Get a new job. (They can't because they're partially handicapped from decades of sitting behind a wheel vs behind an office desk).

I get there's a lot of Conservative leaning leafs here and I still claim to be a moderate because both sides are absolute fuck wits. The amount of pure ignorance displayed by leafs within this thread on their own politics and history + the very clear right wing propaganda/leftist hate is pretty staggering. Sadly it's become an echo chamber rather than an actual discussion which is a great example of the failures of Canadians on a whole.

And comparing moving around vigorously in skiing in a full snow suit and protective gear in -20 weather is not comparable to out of shape folks in parkas from Walmart. Warming centers are opened for those stuck outdoors and there are regulations regarding how you would work in this temperature. You can get frost bite pretty easily, especially when you're not paying attention.

As I outlined, I'm specifically concerned about glowniggers using fireworks to enact false flags. You're an absolute mongoloid if you missed that part.
That's not what you said. You're crying about fireworks like people in Ottawa are crying about trucks honking, all because of some batshit scenario about glowies using them as cover to off people. Okay, sure, that could happen, but we should ban honking too because in addition to killing Karen's cats (that's bad optics man!) and also glowies are using it to send Morse code, no dude trust me, it's totes happening.

Just take the L, admit you said something dumb and move on.

Has he ever faced repercussions for his stupidity before? If not probably the latter.
Not really. Trudeau has gotten through multiple serious scandals (like major corruption type shit) totally unscathed. The only way he has ever faced any consequence is that he formerly had Liberal Party majority in parliament, but now with a plurality of seats, he is 'forced' to do a pseudo-coalition with the farther-left NDP. But he always seems to escape serious consequences, like criminal prosecution or losing power. The only way he could lose power is if the Conservatives win a majority, but that seems far-fetched since the Cuckservative party seems intent on always running unelectable faggots who lose elections. In fact, this is basically the first major protest movement against him. There was a little bit of a Yellow Vest flare-up at one point, but it got smeared pretty hard by media and people weren't mad enough to join them. This has the advantage of being organic and local (as opposed to LARP copying a foreign movement), and occurring with people already pretty close to the breaking point due to covid restrictions.

Idk if this is just hopium, but it seems like the protesters are rather uncompromising, AND none of the media smears seem to stick. To me, it seems as though the government will either have to cave to demands, or conduct a PR disaster of an unjustifiable crackdown. I guess we'll see what happens with Trudeau's upcoming speech today.

I doubt that Trudeau will be able to simply wait for the truckers to tucker themselves out and go home. The people of Ottawa are already having a major meltdown online about the honking; they're baying for blood, for the gov't to sic the army on the working class demonstrators over a few HONKS. The party hasn't even started yet, with looming logistical issues throughout the city. I don't think the people of Ottawa are resilient enough for a stiff upper lip mentality. They will be egging on Trudeau to make harebrained, brash decisions that could prove to be major blunders.
