Jim Sterling / James "Stephanie" Sterling / James Stanton/Sexton & in memoriam TotalBiscuit (John Bain) - One Gaming Lolcow Thread

Why's he slut shaming himself? don't these types tend to avoid the word whore or harlot lol.
Only when its other people they don't like doing it. Otherwise, forcing the public to participate in their fetish is a prime source of validation. Performative femininity needs to be seen and acknowledged so you get all these little acts of exhibitionism as their circle of fellow hogs stop providing the narc hit they need. It's part of the reason Jim recently said the point of his identity is to be visibly trans and not female.

trying to make sense of his anatomy here 🤔

It makes me ashamed to say I saw like two videos and went "eh, might be an okay content creator".

Fuck me Jim's content is just awful and annoying. I genuinely can't stand it now.

The content literally involves a greenscreen, a silly outfit and ranting into the camera unscripted for just long enough to cash out adsense revenue, all tied together with a vague shoehorned in issue, a strawman of some other issue, or that fucking voice that you need to hear at least three times a video where he goes "TrIpLe-AyY iNdUsTrY".

At this stage, I think Jim's audience consists of simps for Jim rather than people who want to keep up to date with industry news or learn something about it, then there's a dozen content creators who work harder and aren't nearly as pretentious and annoying.

For fuck's sake, Jim. The only people who care so much about NFTs, on either side of the argument, are fucking morons. I'm not exactly au fait on crypto, and NFTs specifically, but surely all the publicity and outrage and controversy surrounding them only serves to make them more desirable and therefore more valuable? So therefore MORE of a thing? NFTs are a problem, if you think they even are a problem, that would just go away on their own eventually provided you ignored that they even existed. The bubble will grow, then it will burst, leaving some lucky or smart people a lot richer; and a fuckload more people worse off. Just like every single other investment ever in the history of investments.
