I think the Marxist terminology they might use is that actual working class people are mostly "lumpenproletariat" who are "stupid/immoral" and "fighting against their own class interests," so it's okay to hate them as a Marxist.

Yea they'd get a lot of business today. But who's the main customer of these wreckers? That's right, truck drivers. So if they piss off and fuck over truck drivers then nobody uses them and they go out of business.

That would require them to actually be familiar with Marxist ideology on any level beyond virtue signaling and trendy social media posts. Which they aren't.

They are probably hyper-aware that they are on the precipice of a major PR disaster. Canadian police absolutely have the highly militarized equipment like BearCat armoured cars and such. They're not deploying it (yet). The heavier shit is lingering in reserve. That clip with a woman showing the police convoy on the highway counting vehicles mentions some of them being SWAT.

The last thing the RCMP wants is to be perceived by the Canadian public as evil oppressors gunning down good citizens. If they just came in heavy immediately, not only would it be a PR disaster in itself for the Coutts situation, but could be a flashpoint for major civil strife across the country, considering everything else that's going on. They don't want to spark outrage, it's already a powder keg.

Only Citywide Towing and Recovery has bothered so far, it's likely they'll never get a call again from a trucker in distress in that area after seeing them cuck out, go out there and lock all their doors like the little cowards they are.
