EDIT: Forgot to add this part. To bring all of this back to MauLer, I wouldn't be surprised if he just forgets who JSG is when he's not on a podcast. I doubt most of them really care about him, and the feeling is probably mutual. Beyond a distance for modern-day entertainment, they don't have a lot of the same interests. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out that they basically want to remain in good graces with every minority they can, but I'd place a bigger bet on them just not being close friends with a man who's entered his early 40's.

I think we are on the cusp of a year long repudiation of Amazon's Lord of the Rings show. That just happens to be one of JSG specialties, so I think he'll become more prominent, perhaps even guesting on EFAP.

But in general, the EFAPverse is isolated, the FNT/Comicsgate circles are a different game and only Mauler seems interested in mingling there. Gary has said a couple of times that he wants to fly all the brits in for a meetup, so something interesting might happen this year.

I love watching JSG rip apart awful media, so I look forward to his videos on the matter (far more than any podcast appearance). Since, unlike MauLer, he can make a point in a single video that doesn't quire four lunch breaks to watch.

Edit: Will the Amazon Lord Of The Rings make MauLer read a book or two just for the sake of dunking on it harder? Because after the Last Of Us, I think he might be willing to put his pride on not reading just out of sheer spite of a "woke" product like this. Of course, he might also complain about the book being too hard to read.

Didn't they say they have plans to do the Third Age? Even if they don't, didn't they confirm that characters that are alive in both ages will be in the show? Either way, it's going to be super gay. To clarify, the Second Age as a whole is more of an LotR Appendix story, but the Akallabêth, which is bundled with the Silmarillion while technically being a separate story goes into far more detail on the Fall of Nûmenor, which the show will probably be at least half focused on.
Edit: It's a shame he doesn't read, since I'm certain he'd love LotR and Dune.

They started with a long meme review, and a joke sponsorship which I couldn't understand if it was meant to be a retelling EFAP memes, or a satirical commentary on sponsorships and sandwich-men while keeping it EFAP themed. Either way, it was obviously a joke, but a joke is supposed to be funny, and I didn't laugh, because you have to do more than to say "australian slaves", or to reference some previous meme to be funny.

I think it's a mix of the two. It's clear he has a hard-on for some people while others are likely his retarded "fans" sperging about some "bad take". Never the less, they have been largely going over the same shit for years "blah blah objectively this and that blah blah".
