If this is/was intended to set up a spin off it would explain some weird things like Jazz being an intern there (to test the audience’s reaction to the clinic and entice them to watch in hopes of seeing the former star in the background), the great PR stunt of having on of the sister’s involved with a trans person (one eager to be in the spotlight and play their role too), having Sander and said trans build a relationship up so he too could pop up in the background if needed, and finally showing a surgery on screen (or parts of it I assume from what you guys have said about the episode) to gauge how far they could go with the gore on a new show.
Personally I think a spin off show would be great; it would be an undeniable record of the people Mangala Lite here has experimented on.
I know we talk a lot about how this whole medical era will be looked back on in the same way we look back on lobotomies now, but this doctor (my phone keeps autocorrecting her name to Seabreeze so I’ve given up trying to type it) reminds me so much of Walter Freeman.
For those unfamiliar Freeman was the physician (important note: not a friggin surgeon) who took the lobotomy from an invasive surgery to a public performance, complete with his « lobotomobile » (seriously) and his own spin on lobotomy which we today call the « ice pick lobotomy ».
I compare the two not just because they claim their completely experimental and imprecise practices are safe and beneficial despite having completely unpredictable and wildly varied results, but because both have tried to normalize their disturbing practices by bringing it face first to the people, both preform their jobs with unhinged glee and both are willing to do their life altering and highly dangerous experiments on very young children, convincing their parents and the world at large that it’s what’s best for the child’s mental health.
Most people look back on Freeman and his bullshit with disgusted fascination, now imagine if we had 3 full seasons documenting his practices. TLC would do well to hold on to unused footage too; imagine the documentary that could be made from all the stuff they had to cut.
Maybe that will happen with Jazz someday if someone leaks the more truthful raw footage.
I know the short answer is because “she’s an insane control freak” but I hate thinking about why she would have a baby monitor in an adult’s room.
Was it one of those ones with a camera or an old school one that just gives sounds?
Either way you have to be pretty fucked up not to find the very idea of it all incredibly disgusting.
Why would no one question her doing that? And I mean her friends, the family or even the tlc crew?
I’m sure if they did she’d have to justify it with Jazz being trans so as much as I hate saying it, it’s probably to watch/listen to Jazz dialate. No doubt with the excuse “it’s to make sure she really does it” but fuck my entire life it’s horrifying.

There were a couple of comments guessing scleroderma. She does seem to have stiff and contracted arms. But her mouth seems to sag more than contract.
I found a link from Noah's facebook to her profile. Her name appears to be Vivian, but she's not very active on it and there are no clues about what condition she has.
It looks like she's wearing some sort of pod taped to her chest. Stick-on heart monitor?

Maybe it’s like how scammers purposely use spelling/grammatical errors as a way of scaring off the smarter people who probably wouldn’t fall for the scam so that the only people who respond are guaranteed idiots. If you’re okay with being operated on by a surgeon whose website looks like it was written by an intern, you’ll be less likely to complain about results that look like they were done by an intern?

I don't recall if I said it in this thread or in one of the general troonery threads, but I could absolutely see Sidbh Gallagher actually hating trannies and enjoying mutilating them. It's not even difficult to imagine.
Some serial killers who exclusively murder prostitutes/"sex workers" have explained that their motive is punishing their victims for immoral behavior or "cleansing" society. Sidbh Gallagher gives me that kind of vibe in a way that few of the other SRS butchers do. Most of them just seem out to make a buck, but there's something very sinister about Gallagher.

Dr, Gallagher seems to be just a sociopath who happens to be woke. She makes money out of these people because she really doesn't care what happens to them as long as she advances on her career and her bank account grows because she's convinced that what she does is good.
Just like those butcher plastic surgeons who keep doing work on women whose faces are very much deformed, but they still ask for more. Most of these people would be much better with therapy to help them accept themselves as they are, but surgeons believe that fixing their faces is what they need to feel better. An ethical doctor would say "ok, it's enough, you don't even look human any more." They keep doing it because they are paid to keep doing more.

Sander has used people with severe diseases as social media props before. Remember his "friend", a young girl with a facial deformity? He's such a scumbag. Everything he does just oozes with his desire for people to click like and tell him what a great guy he is.
If Noah was traumatized by having her mother suffer illness and disability, it could've added fuel to the mental illness fire.
Also this poor woman looks like she can barely walk she doesn't have the energy to deal with gender shennanigans.
I hope the case manager actually helps Jazz recover from the wierd controlling abusive horseshit Jeanette and her minions heaped on him, but since Jeanette is involved, the case manager will probably just be used as the dilation police.
The way she went from coddling him to dumping him is crazy.
Maybe the case manager will be a cryptoterf, decide that Jazz doesn't use proper breath-support when he tries to talk and walk at the same time, and give a certain speech pathologist with an interest in his case a call?
