Yes, right-wing reactions to COVID have adjusted based on the availability of information, while left-wing reactions to COVID have adjusted based on whatever appears in the moment to do the most political damage to people you hate, which, since you primarily hate people whose reactions are based primarily on trying to weigh risks and weighing them among many competing interests, your reactions are almost entirely based on doing the opposite of what makes sense.
