It's not even that you like food that tastes good because you don't. It's all about image with you as evidenced by your choice of restaurants that predominantly have MP items on the menu.
It's fine to enjoy food that is expensive. I love good food (uni, dry aged steaks, etc.) and can spend $100 on a single meal for myself. But that is because I am doing it for myself and to enjoy the taste.
On the other hand, you write off certain places because of how you perceive them. Chicken Nuggets? No. Listed menu prices? Probably not.
As an example, one of the best burgers I have every had was when I was looking at places to move to. The little restaurant that has since closed was in McKee, Kentucky and it was called Opals. But your little pretentious ass we just skip it in favor of some Michelin star shit.
