Then consider that this woman put thought into what haircut and color would look best on her while complementing her skin tone, is aware that the shape of her brows can make a difference, and selects makeup based on what will make her look bright and healthy.

That's a lot of little things on their own, but they obviously add up. And again, that was a list for a "no makeup" makeup look. That wasn't a full face or complete hair styling routine. It can take a long time to learn what products work best for your hair and skin type, your needs, your goals, etc.. Some concealer formulas are amazing but they oxidize horribly. Some foundations are a perfect color match without mixing but cause breakouts. Don't even get me started on different mascara formulas and the wands.

My point is, women do have to try. All the time. Women experiment with different makeup formulas, obtain a good brush set, figure out makeup removal and skincare, change it up with age and environmental factors... it's anything but effortless, regardless of if they're going for a natural look or full blown glam. As dumb as it may sound, these beauty rituals take a certain level of knowledge, discipline, and self respect. I didn't even touch on fashion.

Troons think that growing out their unwashed hair and scribbling on pink lipstick (that's always the worst shade for their skin tone) is the same thing. It's not, and it never will be. Maybe if the filthy beasts practiced actual self care like therapy and touching grass, instead of forcing everyone to go along with their perverted delusions, they would feel happy in their own body. And if not, that's sad, but it's no excuse to cry TERF every time someone points out that they're unwell and a collection of ill-fitting skirts and drugs isn't the cure.

A) the Opportunity cost of transition is going down all the time. At the end of the day, professional sports are about money (and to a lesser degree, national dick waving). 20 years ago, trans athletes would not be getting endorsement deals. That's not the case today, and you can see it by people like Lia Thomas who are being held as trailblasing for their choices. Think that's not going to lead to a wheaties box deal? Woke consumerism is all the rage right now

B) Re: Biological "man" and "women". I hate this fucking dancing around the issue with language. What people are concerned about the is set of biological traits a trans woman comes into the competition with, not the validity of her "woman identity". Women's sports exists as a separate category because of those biological realities. If humans were like hyenas and the females where larger than the males, then we would be worried about the reverse! It is not specifically that woman as some sort of abstract idea need to only compete against other women, it's that biologically some humans have the innate physiological advantages. If the only men who transitioned were in the bottom decile of height and strength for men, no one would care because then there wouldn't be such an obvious handicap for other women. One look at Lia towering over his teammates makes it pretty clear that's not what's happening.
