There are a handful that I've seen, but as expected just going by the overall population of course there are way less. They can't fathom that of those who are vaccinated, maybe some of them didn't want to be or disagree with the coercion and discrimination. Like all 30M are pro-mandates lol

They refuse to think critically. Like, if 90% of truckers are vaccinated that makes them one of the highest demographics for vaccine compliance. You aren't going to hit 100% with anything. That is about as good as it can get. Yet they want more restrictions to try to force the public to meet an impossible goal. That fraction of a percentage point.

This is after telling people, for years at this point, that the exact opposite was their plan. As vaxxes went up the mandates were supposed to go down. Supposed to.

"Common law" in Canada means a superior court decision. It often times fixes things, but it is also a measure by which "additional considerations" can be put in place that are difficult for thr common man to find or know. Common Law decisions must be codified into legislation for the system to be effective for the common man, otherwise you end up with cognitive dissonance that hurts the people and legislating from the bench.

Take for instance the issue of private firearms ownership.

Section Seven of The Charter states that everyone in Canada has the right to "Life, Liberty, and Security of Person and the right not to be deprived there of except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice."

Common Law has also since established that the government has no duty to protect individual citizens from harm as things like the Police exist to maintain "the King's peace".

Between these two statements, a right to arms and ammunition is clearly implied as the only person responsible for protecting you from harm is you, ans the Criminal Code of Canada has codified that Canada is effectively a "stand your ground" land regarding self defence, and the only solution to an offender with a weapon is a weapon of your own.

However, SCC rulings have consistently and explicitly stated that Canadians have no right to firearms ownership.

If the state wished to prevent me from having the means to preserve my life and liberty, then the state must take on that responsibility, yet Canadian common law has established that this is not the case, and your rights stop where someone wishes to take them from you.
