Joe Biden has authorized the transfer of $15 million from the Democratic National Committee to bolster his party's House and Senate committees. This money will most likely go to candidates participating in the 2022 midterm elections.

He also just signed an executive order aimed at strengthening union construction jobs. The order will make it so that Project Labor Agreements are mandated on all federal contracts over $35 million. Project Labor Agreements eliminate a large chunk of competition in bidding on government projects by requiring that all bidders adhere to union standards. It should be noted only 13% of construction workers are in unions.

The Democrats just rubberstamped a bunch of Trump appointments so they could go on vacation!" If the Dems had spent political capital fighting Trump-appointed judges instead of impeachment and Russiagate it would have given them a much better political payoff as far as I can tell.

Because a. they fucked themselves in the ass changing the rules of the Senate to get THEIR judges appointed, even though the GOP warned them point blank this would bite them in the asses when the GOP took power again; b. the GOP threatened to fully eliminate the Filibuster if the Democrats fought them, knowing damn well that the Democrats would blink since unlike Schumer, Mitch COULD get his people to vote in lockstep to eliminate the filibuster if necessary if pissed off; and c. total war can bog down a party when it comes to nominations to the judiciary not only PR-wise, but also with the fact that if you burn all of your political and social capital to blanket stop ANYONE from getting a judgeship, that you inevitably won't have any left to stop someone who IS needing to be stopped since the party in power will often sacrifice moderate candidates so they can sneak past the ones who are too radical to be given a judgeship

Best explanation I ever heard for the left's obsession with banning AR-15s is that it's the same animus that drives a bunch of boys to sneak over to a rival school and steal their mascot suit or something like that.
