So....if they sue all the truckers, who's going to deliver the food and go on strike when the truckers say "Fuck you, feed yourself"?

Do they honestly think someone like google or amazon is going to have self driving trucks that will magically solve the problem?

Those aren't coming - yet. And the people that want it will have starved to death by the time they do.

One day I came home from work and there was a pile of about 25 dead Canada Geese half frozen into a lump piled in my driveway. My buddy told some hunter at his work "sure drop a few off, we will eat them".
They used to be a protected species here, but now they are a nuisance, and you can shoot pretty much as many as you want.

We spent days plucking fucking geese. I still have some in the freezer. I don't really like it, the meat is tough because they fly half across the continent twice a year.

You should marinate them in wine (for a couple of days in the fridge). I guess they don't have a lot of fat so you're going to have to use lard or bacon. My mom hated cleaning/eating waterfowl, too gamey she said.

There was a bunch of Canadian Geese outside a naval station in the Bronx when I had to get an ID and all the sailors/Marines gave them a wide berth. In the dead of winter.

As a self identifying lolbertarian I thought the hallmark was copious amounts of legal untaxed cocaine. I guess voluntarism is pretty important too.

They believe the lie that the vast majority of working people are vaxxed and not aligned with the protesters, and will haul the the trucks away at market rates once presented with the correct piece of paper. They've taken the legitimacy that makes everything they do work for granted.

They are lashing out because they got caught by surprise. They were on guard for something like this happening in America because EVERYONE knows us Americans are a rowdy bunch. Any hint of dissent in the States gets shut down hard.

They never planned for this hard of a break to happen in Canada. Remember in the lead up to this there was just a poo pooing of how small and insignificant the protest was. They honestly believed their own propaganda. Never in their wildest nightmares did it occur to them that the largest uprising in the western world to the COVID authoritarianism would happen in CANADA.

I think they are just waving whatever stick they have on hand rather than whether it will solve the problem. And even if it doesn't move the trucks it will ruin the drivers for organizing the protest.

Their jobs are mostly punching the correct values into a computer or whatever the modern equivalent of pushing paper is. They think the working class jobs operate like a vending machine. The nuts and bolt of daily operations and how things are actually accomplished is a completely alien concept akin to magic. Magic that they just assume will happen because they put in a work order for a wand and wand operator.
