Mexico could also have a very peaceful protest and things go well. I can tell you that in Texas alot of Mexican and Texan drivers will regularly go from places like Reynosa and Monterrey to as far north as Canada on some of their runs. Plus their rules on covid have been about the same as Texas. Large cities will hassle you but small towns it's as if COVID never happened. Maybe the local ER gets overwhelmed once every season but a few extra shifts at the local hospital and it's all back to normal.
But if there is anything it's the cartel violence and violent crime that would be more of a concern.
But I would could easily see Texas national guard basically winning over the local CBP and it's back to normal.

By initially saying the money is being disbursed to other approved of charities and funds of their choosingthey've basically admitted to open theft at the behest of the Canadian government.
It won't stop the charge backs and it ain't lookin to end anytime soon. I've heard the total fees are upwards of one million clams and rising, but nothing solid info wise that I'm seeing yet. This is the kinda shit that gets a business of any size cut off from payment processors. Here's hoping!
Edit: looks like GiveSendGo stepped up to the plate for funding the truckers, with a little pepper on their Twitter touching on how to do a charge back at GFM.
