I think his banning off Youtube is what set him down a bad path, because you're right in the sense that Nick had this huge persona and it was one driven by his "optics" approach that was backed by him having some sort of legitimacy online via his Youtube and verified Twitter acct. He did find success in Dlive for a while and made the best of it but at that point he knew he'd become an alt tech jockey just like the people he despised (TRS, Richard Spencer) and over time the cracks began to show in his persona. The Kami stream obviously stuck with him in that time and made him much more sensitive to criticism which kicked into overdrive when Patrick left the movement, then his Twitter got banned and removed what was left of his "legitimacy" online and he spiralled as a result. Now he's trying to play up his unhinged misanthropic persona like some "eccentric genius" but in reality Nick is the ultimate midwit. His takes are years behind TRS who did this gay China shilling first, along with anti-American rhetoric and praying for the 3rd world to blow up Jews and save whitey somehow.
