The Super Best Friends Super Best Griefing Thread - Matt's a cuck, Liam is a bitch, Pat's a loony and Woolie's Way is now trademarked

PSA: TacoFunBox, the person who does the imo best SBFP LP compilations had to delete them off of the channel, but there is a new channel where the comps will be hosted from now on.
Why'd he have to do it? I don't imagine it was any of the lads giving him trouble over it, cos he wouldn't be just putting them on another channel again if that were the case.

I don't really know the pacifics, as I understand it has to do with TFB's channel being demonetized or something.

little v made a video saying he wont stream anymore with woolie because he got anxious and felt pressure to "be worthy as a co-host" and because he got a lot of criticism but "only 2% was constructive" (ok sure) and "dont talk back to the audience which i found fascinating" (i guess that's a way to twist your chat bashing into a positive thing).

Altho i find interesting how V says he never actually hated the twitch chat, his biggest problem was the subreddit and youtube comments, which is comical to me since the sub always brags about how much better they are than twitch chat. The sub was thrashing him on the thread of his mom's death and that was when he decided to not come back.

Unsurprisingly, i love how they're still doubling down on "it was just ONE GUY!" or "it was chat's fault!".

The best/worst part is that woolie will obviously see the video and still say nothing about it cause he's too coward. The yakuza lp is either dead or he'll have to restart with reggie.

I think i brought this up before but yeah its incredibly strange that he does that. Its not just game shit he also does this for other things where he basically just learns 1 piece of information and makes a bunch of assumptions surrounding that and creates these weird conclusions. It was year ago now but he was said something on the podcast along the lines of "crunchy roll being great" and chat disagreed then he was just like a deer in the headlights confused and asking for confirmation from the chat about it.

I don't know the right term and this may make me sound like some reddit intellectual retard but its like he lacks the ability to think critically. He accepts whatever is presented to him and that forms the entirety of his thoughts on something and he never has any curiosity to look anything up along with the inability think over what is said to realise its wrong. This foundation it creates means he also seems to refute anything you throw at him counter to that because his first source is what he trusts on then he gets argumentative about it when challenged. Then it seems like most times he gets into a huff and doesn't want to discuss it anymore because it challenges what he thinks.
There is a word for people who lack the ability to formulate complex thought and shut down when their beliefs are challenged: Stupid.

Maybe that's another reason that Woolie is afraid to do a collab with anyone besides Pat and his own personal pet monkey/punching bag Reggie: He never wants to be seen as the second banana and get embarrassed by his cohost ever again. If he ever actually gets called stupid anywhere but here, he'd have a full scale meltdown.

The Subreddit has a thread about this atm. It bounces between "fuck those few people who are assholes" and people going "man this subreddit sucks we deserve this"

Also pic related is i guess how Woolie and the crew are going to react to this. Its all that 1 guy and the people who upvoted him who are at fault here.

Looks like its going to continue with Reggie once he catches up with the whole series.
You know what? Good for him. Reggie seems like a genuine nice guy so I’m glad V’s antagonist bullshit won’t ruin the rest of Woolie’s experience. Plus maybe it will be better having two people unaware of where the story goes? I’m going to be hopeful on this one. It’s probably still not gonna be good, but it can’t possibly get any worse...right?

V's antagonism was present in Halo, but in Yakuza my main problem was Woolie's inability to separate fun times with serious times with his stupid ass preachy morality. V's downside in that LP wasn't him being antagonistic to Chat, it's him just being a Yes-man to Woolie's bullshit instead of calling him out. V was the lesser of 2 evils in Yakuza LP.

Reggie on all LP's has done the same thing, he's never really one to call out Woolie's BS, so at best, we'll get optimistic reaction Reggie while Woolie stops the game for 30 minutes, look at Reggie, and explain to him how this one bad guy they let live should be dead and this whole situation is fucked up, while it's a goofy sidequest about stealing panties or someshit.

Yeah, you’re right. I avoided the whole Yakuza 0 LP in general just because I can’t stand V so I just heard about what was happening in this thread, but that does make a lot of sense on how it sucked. I don’t think there’s any way for Woolie to change this problem of his because he’s been this way his entire life. He literally needs a Pat or Matt to keep his bullshit under control.

I was recently rewatching some of the Bully LP and even there Matt and Pat make fun of Woolie’s lousy opinions and how Woolie hated on the Harley Quinn redesigns right after he defended Ken’s awful redesign for SFV until he was called out for being a hypocrite, which in turn caused him to sputter a bunch of nonsense to try defending himself. It was funny in those days, now it’s irritating.

It always bounces. The subreddit is stuck on this perpetual cycle of grief and elitism around itself. It happens everytime someone calls them out (paige, etc) or when some media/fanbase they participate gets internet hate.

1-DENIAL: "We're NOT like those other fandoms! We're wholesome and inclusive, we are so much better!"

2-Anger: "How dare you! There are much worse fandoms out there, at least we are not as bad as THOSE GUYS!

3-Bargain: "Okay, maybe there are some bad apples and we enabled them... but that was ONE GUY, you cant hate all of us."

4-Depression: "Allright... i guess we kinda suck..."

4.5-IRONIC depression. "Hell yeah we suck lol 😎"

5-Acceptance: "It's the internet, all fandoms are bad, get used to it buddy."

I'm sure someone will make the mandatory apology thread to woolie soon but with how fast the current shitpost trend is ("this is what this sub wants:"), it might not even reach the front page.
