Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

the guy who’s famous for playing annoying pussies is really upset about the convoy

After centuries of "stealing" each others' land and genociding each other, the American injuns were finally felted in totality by those that prayed to the Christian God. Their rain gods and nature spirits and colors of the wind weren't there to save them.

99.9% of all nations today exist on land that was once "owned" by others. But nobody cries over the Turks taking Constantinople, or the Japanese using the Chinese as lab rats as recently as the 1940s, because they aren't whitey.

Keep coping, leftoid.
"Reee it was never our land" is just cope about why whitey should let third worlders destroy their country. Everyone right-leaning or has more than a few brain cells realize this and know it doesn't work in reverse, even though it should in theory.

It'd be a real shame if truckers found out where these nuts Diane and Carol live to give them a good honking.

They are such open tyrants it's unbelievable.
I am having a hard time believing that this is not all just political theatre and posturing for their constituents. If this were shown widespread on our news media, it could spur genuine revolt. Like I said early in this thread, my anecdotal experience suggests it has widespread support, excepting the Twitter tier internet spergs, and obviously the frustrated retards well-off enough to live in Downtown Ottawa.

The Ontario government matches the teacher's pension fund 2:1. Can you name another employer that will double your contributions? They're so overfunded that the Ontario Teacher's Pension Plan was featured on Billions as an important investor for Axe Capital; that's how notoriously overstuffed they are.

For those unaware:
Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan
Ontario Teachers' also invests the plan's pension fund, and it is one of the world’s largest institutional investors.
Total assets: C$221.2 billion
This is merely the pension plan of one profession in one province.
Another big one:
Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec
Total assets: C$389.7 billion
These two pension funds are often dueling with each other in the AAA commercial real estate sphere, through their subsidiaries called Cadillac Fairview and Ivanhoé Cambridge, respectively. I was surprised by how much of the Canadian economy seems to be owned by pension funds when I first looked into it, it's almost communistic in terms of worker ownership (at least by proxy) of the means of production.

So how long before Sloly's canned for someone more trigger happy or bloodthirsty or he resigns because he knows something is coming that we don't?
Him and the city lawyer were on the defensive the whole meeting today. I fully expect both of them to resign very publicly if the city decides to go ahead anyways. They know how sketchy it all is legally speaking.

Whether that gives the council pause is another story.

Every picture I see of the I-15 terminus at Coutts shows the protest just growing larger, not smaller. Which is funny because this protest has been declared "over" pretty much every day for the last 3 days. This one I think is really hitting hard. I-15 is the backbone of the North American agricultural economy and with it shut down the corn syrup is not going to flow. This is a big problem that is going to get even bigger the longer this goes on.
:story:

Imagine the full weight of the American agri-business/corn lobby visibly/publicly putting pressure on Justin-kun being added to everything. That'd be glorious.

You give them too much credit. Nobody watches those live feeds. Those bitches have been doing Zoom for 2 years now and nobody has watched it. Look at the archived copies. Less then a thousand views on all of them. Nobody watches the Ottawa city council and for years they've known this. This time was no different. Don't assume it was grandstanding. Those bitches meant EVERY WORD. They want mass arrests, they want the Army to come in guns blazing, they want the police to do "whatever it takes" to make those awful terrorist insurrectionists go away. They said it outright and they meant every word.

Don't make excuses for them.

Carol for sure. Good lord is that woman batshit insane. She threw a fit during the meeting and had to be put in timeout so she could compose herself.

If the Canadian government actually suspends the CCRF, there's gonna be a giant outcry. The eyes of the world are on Canada, they are the definition of cucked neolibs and their doing that to crack down on peaceful protesters would vindicate Tiananmen Square and other atrocities by pointing out that the West has no real human rights either.

Less America's fault, but a plea for help. American media, including news media, is very much bread and circuses for Canadians.

If American media condemned the trucker protests it would galvanize his position and grant him more latitude to use violence.

"See the international media says you're wrong. You have to stop now or else". This sort of messaging would help to keep the people at home in line due to percieved social conditioning. When social media is full of CNN articles decreeing the truckers, the Canadian public would be more willing to fall in line to maintain their international standing.
I try to avoid posting doom and gloom type of stuff here and I don't plan to make it a trend here now, but this post brings up a large reason as to why I'm not really confident that these protests will do a lot of good in the long term. For those outside of Canada, you may not fully grasp just how strong of an influence that American media has here. Naturally it's kind of intuitive considering that they're right on our doorstep and all, but both the mainstream and social media cultures of the US are heavily and ever increasingly ingrained here especially with the youth.

There's a very large and always growing mentality of "coastal elitist" politics (I guess maybe even calling it more like "Vermont politics" may be more appropriate) that can be found in Canada and can easily be found in small cities and towns that aren't even considered important or notable. Some of this was always there because of a notable "We're not Murrica" sentiment; what used to be more of a statement of national pride has increasingly become a political one. A lot of this has been heavily exacerbated by social media. It's no surprise to see how you have the same type of dumbass Progressive types babbling about these protestors being like the Klan. It's the same type of stupidity you'd see someone in the US mocking those in "Flyover Country" and conceptualizing them all as a bunch of inbred hicks.

Do they even understand what they're proposing? You can block them on foot for a little while, but it's not hard for them to hop on the CB radio and say "Road's blocked, buds, better find another route." But let's say that is the only route, or for some reason it is impossible to turn around. It's a lot colder standing around outside with your little bicycle than in a toasty cab. They have food in the cab and cyclists do not. Truckers have demonstrated quite well in Ottawa that they're ready and willing to be very annoying with the horn. Do these Antifa faggots intend to stand there for days getting honked at? Are they disciplined enough to stand around in shifts 24/7, such that they can't just pass through whenever the cyclists get sleepy?
