To be fair, the real reason many protesters don't trust the "the science" or authorities is because those things have been used to endlessly sell them out to foreign and internationalist interests. Those on the other side just thinks this is a good thing, and often have some job working for the massive parasitic bureaucracy this creates.

Even more than that, the "scientific claims" being put forth are observably false, any discussion is being stifled, and the trial data is being conspicuously hidden from anyone who might want to try to replicate the study. All of this violates the basic principles of science. So what we're left with is decidedly not science.

I believe with the former president of Ukraine Victor yukanovich had been a loyal Russian pawn who pissed away the countries wealth. During the euromaidan protest's it took weeks if not months of pressure to keep the pressure on for him to crackdown on the protesters. This was after riot police brutalized the protesters. In this case the protesters are so large in number there probably isn't enough riot gear on hand in most of the cities to deal with the numbers. Remember they're used to handling a riot of a few thousand people but tens of thousands of people that's another story especially ones that have vehicles and structures.
In short this is only going to escalate at this point as neither side wants to back down. Also the propaganda from the left is beginning to fly in the face of reality. It's going to set in by next weekend we will see things really get fired up. Especially if these guys occupy even more Canadian cities.

Mostly because Mexico never really bothered with restrictions and has said its never bothering ever so has seen a surge in tourism and other economic activity to the point they're hilariously reaping the benefits.

I can enter any small grocery store without mask, assist and organize parties on the street and even walk outside at the downtown and nobody gives you a shit for that. And if a place asks you to wear a mask is just to say that they are complying with the mandate, but as soon as the people leaves, the masks are off. The media and the upper class are the ones pushing the goverment for mandates about masks and lockdowns to keep ongoing (since they can work from home). Most of Mexico is presential working class (factories, small businesses and farmers) and they mostly fear not being able to put food on the table than catching a flu.

They've blocked off the entire downtown core to traffic, way way way beyond the hospitals. Now, I don't see how the police blocking a street makes things any better than the truckers blocking it, but w/e.
