Unless there's a magical crackdown later today this protest isn't going anywhere and instead is likely to invite the first political responses during the week - just a question of what sort of response.
CBC is clearly gunning for the cracking of heads considering how hard they're playing up the fuel "seizure" last night, and they're also hinting hard at how they want Ontario to declare a state of emergency so actual movement can be restricted. Seriously doubt it'll happen given Ford wants to stay Premier, but you never know.
Federally too expect some cracks in the Liberals forming. NDP are now calling for an emergency debate and (like the BQ already are) will want to start leveraging the protest as a hammer against the Libs. No matter how desperately Trudeau wants to ignore this, just like the native railway blockade he will have to respond sooner than later.
