I do support a flat tax, but no, by flat rate I mean you pay a monthly cost to the clinic, and in return, you can see the doctor as much as you need to and usually cover most procedures. The few facilities in the US that tried this and cut out the insurance company vampires have reported wild success, to the point where they're even initiating profit sharing programs with the staff.

*Shrug* Because it's not the typical viewpoint on it. I literally got told by my biggest critic of the idea that "It lets someone who wants to stuff a cobra up your ass as medicine do it" as well as "You need insurance companies, and it needs to be expensive or it's shit."

So, you ask them 'why does it need to be that way?' I'm critical of the current medical practices done as well as their supposed costs, yet I'm critical of those that boast about finding "alternative cures" to things that already have better and tested methods of treating illnesses, as well as the system that made such insanity a common problem in the first place. There is just so much wrong with the medical system in general, yet when it is addressed, there's always, ALWAYS some minutiae or pocket of muddlers that scream "Your forgetting about MEEE!" And the entire problem goes right back to square fucking one.

There's just so much that could be done to fix everything cleanly, if everyone would focus on the problems at hand, and ignore the "special interests".
